A lot to take in this morning but I keep going back to the Arkansas game.

Roughing the punter might be the most consequential penalty in program history up to this point. Yes, we are still in, but erase that penalty and we are either SEC champions with a bye or are hosting round 1 with an easy path.

If it was all about ratings, then they would want VOLS playing the easiest schedule possible since we tend to do well in that matter. That said, I really do think they will be considering replacing SMU with BAMA because they want more TV viewers.

Eh, yeah that sucked but there’s so many variables and “what ifs” for any team. We had about 3-4 of those major instances in the Georgia game too. We should have handled Arkansas anyway. Just a bad night all around.

two teams are quite similar, trying to be objective. Obvs we played SEC schedule. All things being equal:

-They played ranked teams, and lost.
- Play in front of 100K
- Have a pro TE, 3K passer, and throw ball around.
-Want to play ball control
- Defense is very good
- Penalized 45 yards pg
- Special teams isn't great
- Have turned ball over

Have they played our speed? Can we generate turnovers? will our penn state dc be able to stop their scheme?



Im skeptical. But i've been skeptical all year, and we're 10-2.

PSU is about 5-6 pts worse than OSU.

Give me almost a TD off the top all day.

OSU might still be the most talented team in the country and tons of raw talent is the only thing that's ever gotten in our way (UGA).

Just do the final rankings after the conference championship games and send the top10 to the playoffs + the 2 highest g5s. If the g5s are in the top10, then add #11/#12. Seed them all from their poll rankings. . . but use the BCS, not humans, to rank them in the final poll.
