SMU played too good this week to be excluded. This will change the committees thinking away from trying to get Bama in to a more practical line of thinking (not by choice on their part). Media has been dogging the committee since last night about not excluding SMU.Off the wall, committee. Off the wall, Trippie.
Don’t know why you think it’s any different this week. Last week they wanted to **** everyone by keeping Bama when they definitely didn’t deserve it.
Could be a blessing in disguise. Nico may have gotten laid out like Beck or somethingA lot to take in this morning but I keep going back to the Arkansas game.
Roughing the punter might be the most consequential penalty in program history up to this point. Yes, we are still in, but erase that penalty and we are either SEC champions with a bye or are hosting round 1 with an easy path.
Neither QB scares me, especially with our defense. OSU has more talent on offense than PSU has though. PSU's defense is probably a little better than OSU's.OSU has elite talent. I’d rather play PSU.
No signature wins and at same time no bad losses. Not sure how I would rate this. PSU only losses were to Oregon and OSU. Texas only loss to Georgia twice. We had a tougher schedule than both and a bigger win, but that Arkansas loss really hurt us.Still don't see how you can look at Texas body of work this season and let them host. Same with Penn State.
They are not going to drop Championship game losers far as it reduces the significance of those games and those games bring big money to the conferences. So I am sure there's a baked-in agreement not to drop those losers very far.PSU was 3 and Tennessee was 7
I don’t think it’s out of the question to drop PSU below Tennessee
Tejas at 2 before loss again to UGA with a backup QB could possibly drop
Typically when teams lose they drop 4-7 spots
Fingers crossed , I know it’s unlikely but I think there’s a chance to host
