It doesn’t seem likely to work, but I think it makes sense IF you consider that their search was, reportedly, going very badly. So their options seemed like, hire a guy that will inevitably fail, or hire a guy that will probably fail and cost you more money, but there’s at least some chance he could elevate your program.

This is so dumb...what does "no excuses" even f'n mean?

I hope they are so much in their heads, from coaches to players to fans, that it gives us an angle to exploit.

But that team is freaking LOADED, and that ain't no excuse...it is a valid reason why this team is going to be extremely hard to beat.

Don't on our guys if they can't pull it off.

My only hope is that we don't beat ourselves and we don't play/coach conservative. If we don't do those things I'm happy to live with the results.

This will be our toughest game to date under Heup. Ohio St has a great team and home field advantage. We need our DLine to play like the top 3 unit that they are. If so, we can definitely win this game.

Booing doesn’t affect gameplay. Fan myth. Not cheering as loud as possible can def help us tho!

Don’t think a coach interviewing for other jobs means much anymore when some of the players basically have one foot out the door.
