Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Spring practice starts what… mid march usually
They can adapt
I wish they would, but the NCAA is at least 20-30 years late on basically everything. It would fix a lot of this if they would allow transfers to go through spring practice as long as they are enrolled for the next following session.

Lol
Sometimes the ncaa act like they’re surprised some things even happen….
They are clueless . Only worse ran organization in this country is the govt but the ncaa is trying to do a worse job if it’s even possible. I know if I ran up a debt of 36 trillion id be out of business lol

Anyways

I’d say push window back so it starts after bowl season which would protect bowls and help coaches. Three week window only. Make a rule saying if you do transfer you have to stay for 2 seasons unless your coach or position coach leaves, which probably can’t happen but would help quite a bit. Also, probably been answered before but why are t their some type of contracts. These guys are getting paid and wanna be treated like adults so they need to have some stipulations or contractual agreements imo

Seeing the post I guessed we had 40 bluechips. We have 41 vs the top teams at almost 70 and lagging the NDs, PSUs of the world by a dozen or more.

And this gap is about to close significanctly in the next class and 2.

Only "no-good wins Indiana" has less at their disposal as a P5 non-conf champion. As I've said repeatedly, we're just getting started.
"The best is yet to come" said this dude...... Screenshot_20241213_164747_DuckDuckGo.jpg*I believe him

Too late in the academic calendar.
Make it Jan 1st imo. It's almost seems too easy 😅

Transfers would have probably 2-3+ weeks with academic "add class" cutoffs to join another program.

Most will transfer after their bowl game and if a kid wants to transfer heading into the semifinals of the championship...probably not that important.

Of course all of this could easily be resolved by signing contracts and making them the employees that they actually are legally...

If he wants to get around the other vols media folks, and they accept him, I'm fine hearing him talk about Tennessee. His tweets read like he just wants to talk ball and restore his passion in Tennessee football. If Swain and others aren't into it then he won't catch on that will be that.
Personally, I hope JG replaces Tyler Ivens on the afternoon show.

*Tyler's been out this past week and Will West is a lot more entertaining without him.

Debt is merely a cashflow financing game. As examples, Walmart and Amazon have 50-150 billion in debt each.

There's also a game theory point here when competing or keeping up with others. Countries with low relative debt levels are such wonderful places as: Palestine, Russia, Eswatini, Botswana, and Saudia Arabia.

Govt and corporate debt is different from personal debt insofar as it is used to (ideally) produce more revenue than the interest accrued. Unlike individuals buying 80 grand worth of depreciating assets (cars) on borrowed money.

Issue with pushing transfer window back is that it wont allow transfers to practice or enroll during the spring semester

I wasn't going to be able to go to the game. Money has been tight this year. Just got a call from a buddy of mine who bought me a ticket to the game... and he is a Gator fan. I have no idea why he did this or why he wants to go, but I'm excited to be obnoxious at the shoe in a week! GB freakin O!
Hey, Super Fan!

I know why.....Screenshot_20241016_140202_Gallery.jpg
You gave your all for the BIG ORANGE and now it's coming back around.

I'm adding 7 points to my original prediction, just cause you're going to be there.
