Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Why?...are you a globalist? Just because you care about AMERICA and pull fOR AMERICANS and give less than zero f's about people around this putrid world that give zero f's about us and do nothing but denigrate and mock us even while they shelter under the protection we have provided them for the last 70 years does not make me a zenophobe...I love ya Jack, you are a sweet wittle feller...but you are such a f'n milquetoast.
Now go tell this to Pons, Santi, Igor, Okpara, Uros, etc.

NBA players from around the world are just people.

It's only similar ilk that feel such dislike, hatred for others inside them and feel this level of paranoia and fragility. Surely you see the irony in such comments. The haters in the other countries are mirroring your exact sentiments. Two peas in a pod.

It always felt to me like he didn't love Tennessee when I listened to his calls. Now I see why. Regardless of where he went to college he's still a buckeye at heart. I don't know why Tennessee would hire someone who doesn't love the university to call the football games. Makes zero sense.
you don't think after 3 decades of service he isn't a vfl? cmon.

I admit I don't trust individuals by where they are from but who they are. Have enjoyed watching our foreign born players.

We'll soon see. I'm stunned by the number of posters that are giving huge amounts of respect to Notre Dame.
I admit their loss was bad but they certainly do pass the eye test moving forward. It happens, Peyton lost to Memphis but we all know Tennessee was the far superior team.

I think Marcus Freeman is an excellent young coach. I’m not a ND fan, but am a fan of Marcus Freeman and his potential.

Wouldn't go that far with PSU.

But Oregon and OSU isn't a crazy thought. Very talented and Oregon has the best QB in a year of down QBs mostly across the board. UGA is now down their QB. Who else is really top notch, Texas but we've seen them now lose twice to UGA, so some confidence lost there. Maybe ND is up there. We'll see.

Most importantly, outside of rankings, is margins. Very open field this year, exactly what we need. Don't see any unbeatables, at all. If only we had a better route, that would be even better, but alas.
You’re gonna find out tomorrow how much the B1G is over rated.

Ryan Day is a good coach. Be real

I’ll have to disagree. The issue is that teams lately have known when we are going to throw and have brought blitzes knowing we are throwing. This has been because we’ve had trouble with receivers etc in the passing game. Overall we are a better pass blocking team than run blocking. (This also is because of our issues in the passing game)
We were bad at pass blocking early in the year- against OU and Arkansas. After that, I think Nico got antsy in the pocket. Both have improved since.

But Dylan Sampson ran for 352 yards against UF, Bama, and UGA. Another 138 against Arkansas and 142 against UK.
