We agree on something. If they're not in the portal, why be alarmed? Other teams are gonna try to poach our best players. Unless they actually enter the portal, why worry?


On the flip side, I'm disappointed that our staff doesn't appear to be reaching out to the best players on other teams and getting them to come here. If everyone else is going to tamper, nothing wrong with us doing it as well.

You’re forgetting we are still on probation. That means we have to be cleaner than everyone else.

Yes, I believe that was one of our issues this year. Work the middle of the field and involve the Tight Ends more.

Anyone calling for Heupel's head is just being an idiot, but Heupel does need to look at making changes to his staff. He needs to avoid the Fulmer trap of loyalty to friends above making this team better. Elarbee either needs to be replaced or given significant help. Same is true for Pope. WRs were not good this year. Every offseason a HC should evaluate his staff and improve where it's needed. If you're not moving forward, you're moving backward.

At the beginning of the season, there was a poster who insinuated that the staff thought Staes wasn’t quite as dynamic as they first thought. I thought it was a bit premature and he had showed some solid play, but maybe they’ve recruited what he would contribute. Kitselman coming back certainly makes it a strong position for us.

Other than the game what has been rough about it? We haven’t lost anyone (yet) that would make a huge difference next year. You’re going to have these types of transfers every off-season.

We picked up 2 starting lineman. Probably the biggest need we have.

There’s been a lot of chatter that Staes was probably a miss. Lean on MK and Davis next year while getting Jack and Brahme ready.

Don’t think we’ll miss Staes

Which was opposite for our defense. Always misaligned and out of position
