If you guys do not think guys like CLR are using back channels and tampering for a QB with Nico's potential, then you are the ones who are ignorant of the current state of college football. I am so sick of how guys get attacked for dropping what may be some info. A poster I like said some things about LA Vol and he got more upset than he should and stopped posting. Others had done these attacks on him as well. I know him and he was the most legit poster ever. Now, he is gone.

Because sometimes things work out for the best; many felt spited when he committed then jumped to Texas. This is his 4th transfer in two years, not someone we “had” to have..

Well, I think we all agree Elarbee’s squad is the one to blame then.

I've been screaming that for 2 years.
I haven't been impressed with Elarbee since he arrived. It feels like we talk about offensive line issues every season. Every starter on the offensive line has either been a transfer or a Pruitt recruit, and player development seems to have regressed.

Was skimming last few to see if any more crap was going on and saw this..

So just checking in to say this...LA did get pissed at me, but it had nothing to do with me attacking him for info he had brought...I have never attacked the info he brought.

If I remember correctly, he was saying what I thought was some really stupid about the CKC hire, and so I told him he was acting like "one of those"...those being the stupid LV fans in the LV forum. He pitched a littel fit and left...which I never wanted or expected him to do.

I didn't know he was that sensitive.

It's a lesson to be learned if people were willing. Alas, I don't see many being willing to learn. There are multiple "Neyor" players in the portal right now.

We will be elite when we rack up 4 or 5 top 5 recruiting classes on a near annual basis. I think we need to upgrade our staff and NIL package for that to happen though.

We are close, but still top of second tier.

I like staff that does more with less. Don't want to go back to the Pruitt and Butch days and only win in the offseason.

Just upgrade NIL if it is an issue. Keep the "do more with less" staff though. We need that, unless you can just guarantee top-2 classes, otherwise you'll just be USC, OU, or Auburn and be all over the place.
