UT - 24
LSU - 17

The 9-2 #11Vols played #10 LSU in the Astro Bluebonnet Bowl in front of 53,000. Condredge Holloway was the MVP, as he rushed 19 times for 74 yrds and 2TDs, as well as throwing for 94 yrds and a 32 yrd TD pass to Jimmy Young. UT was ahead 24-3 at the half, but All-American Bert Jones brought LSU back, trailing by only 7 late in the game. On 4th down, Conrad Graham intercepted a Jones pass at the 10 yard line to preserve the 24-17 victory.

My first Vols game. Just a little kid. But old enough to remember.

Donte Thornton got an invite to the NFL Combine!

Best WR on the team this season. Probably lead the team in TDs with 6? And last i saw he was averaging over 30 yards per catch. He might only be good enough for the league at 1 thing...but if he can take the top off defenses with a long TD here and there in practice he might make a 53 man roster. Sure hope so. Wish the best for him and anyone else who balled out for our VOLS.

Lady Vols win 114-50. No need to thank me for getting this fixed in such a short period of time.
Watch it bub.

We're growing tireless of only winning by 64 with your style of play and coaching decisions.

Have a close game and your *** will be in the unemployment office faster quicker than you can say wafflestomp.

This was the first game as a child that I ever watched on TV and understood the game and really cheered for the Vols. A great memory and a great win.

I wouldn’t say no. We do need taller guys on the outside though.

I keep forgetting about Ethan Davis. Dude has a lot of potential too.

I’m glad we’re on the good side of the portal talk now
I know JAllen said we were looking at other options, I was hoping those other options were more of depth pieces.

I’d like to have Benson, but if it means Staley, Boo, etc having less PT, I’m not for it.

For me, id place Benson in the same category as that RB we got from Michigan St years ago.

Branch is the only one I’d go for, starter wise at this point.

Second, behind Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. I made that movie great.

Yes, you did. My favorite part was that you and Yukon Cornelius survived that fall. Then you 2, came out of the closet and finally confessed you all's taboo love. That brought a tear to my eye. How is Yukon ?

Oh. No way paying college kids to play will ruin college sports………

I f’ing hate this horse crap
The only way to fix the current issues are to have the schools pay the athletes like professionals and sign enforceable contracts. Make it like soccer, you can leave whenever you want during the designated windows, but compensation to let the player out of the contract has to flow the other way.

The 24/7 free agency is really bad for the sport. Casual fans won’t even know who is on the team from year to year.

It’s not paying the players that is ruining CFB, it’s the mask of players caring about their team or their fanbase that’s slipping and fans don’t like it. It’s the same reason the NBA is losing viewership, fans don’t care as much when everyone can tell the players don’t care about anything but their paycheck. Same reason why most CFB fans can’t stand Deion and his Colorado team.
