I’ve talked to numerous college football fans on my Christmas break who agree something’s broken and they don’t want to be stuck watching another pro sport
I think what some are saying is the pendulum swung way too far. No-one is saying kids don't deserve to get paid (even in addition to free room and board, education, and food), it's the system we have now isn't sustainable. If so, fans will start leaving, thus taking their money with them. I can tell you I have several friends/family/co-workers (various fans of rival schools), that said they will stop watching and giving if something doesn't change soon. In reading these forums, it appears many are feeling same thing.Oh. No way paying college kids to play will ruin college sports………
