I think that's a narrow view of the circumstances. Being "impressive" is winning games despite the handicaps we had and has nothing to do with "looks."What I don’t get is one of the “insiders” said heupel has evolved into an impressive HC. If this is what some call impressive then I’m even more confused by it than I was. This is not impressive, this is unimaginative and boring
They were 9-3 gave up 34 to UGA, 33 to Louisville and 17 to SC jr. In the losses.Clemson has won 2 national championships in the last 10 years. As much as I hate to say it, they would be the better program right now.
He changed his scheme to fit his talent and support a rookie starting QB and cobbled oline. That was impressive. Making the playoff with 0 1st round receivers or maybe even olinemen is equally impressive. What I don’t get is one of the “insiders” said heupel has evolved into an impressive HC. I agree, I’m happy with Heupel. Just think he could use misdirection more to mask the lack of talentHe changed his scheme to fit his talent and aupport a rookie starting QB and cobbled oline. My complaint is potentially on being overly loyal to bad recruiters. I am growing convinced that recruiting means more than scheme. Also per @KingVFL the staff leans too heavily on NIL to close the gaps in recruiting. I'd appreciate some good stewardship with our collective dollars.I agree, I’m happy with Heupel.
