It kind of depends on what was meant by "his responsibility". Is passing game performance and WR expectations under his purview? Absolutely? Is he "responsible" for the drop in WR room productions, as in he was a direct cause/fault? That's another thing.I'm not praising it. I'm saying he made the best of a situation that didn't work as well as he hoped. By most indications, he did everything right. Top QB, solid WR room, 5* OT. In the end it didn't work as well as expected. His fault? Maybe, maybe not. His responsibility? Absolutely, and it appears he is acting on that.
But unlike you, I'm not gonna go full hubris and act like I have a real clue how to do better than he did.
