We had brought in first Campbell, then this year Heard. They were both injured. I’m not sure either was ever 100%. The biggest difference this year vs ‘22 imo was not having Mincey (who was dedicated and effective that year) and Crawford on one side and most of all Darnell Wright on the other. I think Umarov might have played well some at G if he hadn’t been lost for the year in the first game.

Let’s build an OL, bring in some WRs, and make a run to get to the playoffs a second year in a row.

Panthers doing Panthers stuff. Won today, their 5th, to make sure they get a crap draft pick. I cant even tell you how many times they have been in the thick of the race for the no1 draft pick ...only to win 2 out of their last 3 or 4 games completely sabotaging themselves. Did it again this year. In fairness, todays win was well worth it as we beat our most hated division rival the Falcons...and beating them meant the Falcons have a losing record at 8-9 and we are 5-12 which isnt that much worse than 4-13 as far as the draft goes I hope? Not sure about the draft yet though...

Had a big junior year with 14TDs on 36 catches. 27yds per. Has a teammate we really want too. He isn't as sought after as Matthews etc, but if CJH is this hype about it then I am too. Hope he balls out next year like expected.

They like this kid a lot.

Special teams has been neutered in todays game. Is it really all that complicated/important when you rarely see a punt returned much less a kickoff? Kick and sprints, kick and sprints. Honestly, I'd eliminate kickoffs and just start every drive at the 25. Move the ball 40 yards and skip the punting. Yeah....I know, but have at it and have fun.
