The new grey footballs were the best version imo.Maybe we’ll get them in a button down with a subtle twist. That’d be nice. I just think the black looks so sharp, glad to have them back the past couple years. I’m not as in love with the grey(and it kind of reminds me of butch - though I should add the Smokey grey mountain themed helmets are very nice and unique).
Is it?
Of course ankings will change, both up and down, but so far out of 8 commits, only 1 bluechip.
Obviously Faizon is a massive bluechip to have, but we need a whole lot more. It would help a lot if we could at least reach Penn St/ND level talent in the next year or two. Our scheme is good enough to make up the remaining gap.
If that’s the case, why aren’t they doing anything? That’s pretty inexcusable, especially if the HC falls within that group. In general, Glen does the absolute bare minimum in recruiting. If we land someone, it’s generally because of some other reason. If we don’t land someone, people like to point to the OL coach not building relationships because that’s a reasonable thing to do.
The unfortunate reality is there isn’t a single person around the program that gives him a passing grade on recruiting, which is why all “insiders” say the same thing.
Pretty good, but could it be better? Perhaps that’s the point when they’re saying he does just the bare minimum. Imagine going full throttle, maybe we’d have 2-3 5*. Just a thought. On the OL in the past two classes, we’ve landed a 5*, 3 4*, 3 3*, as well as Heard and the kid from AZ. That’s pretty good for a guy doing the bare minimum.
And conversely each generation thinks their parents are dumb and out of touch with reality and have no clue what they are taking about so they don’t learn the lessons their parents try to teach them. It’s funny that each generation is ultimately griping about their own ability as parents. Who’s ultimately responsible for teaching and training the next generation? Basically you’re saying I failed as a parent but it’s the lazy kids fault for not figuring it out on their own. The cycle continues.
