It may actually have to do with developmental cycle. The Kruger-Dunning effect is a real thing. The less you know, the more you think you know. It's probably just human physiology more than the abilities or investments of the parents. The cure for the Kruger-Dunning effect generally comes as humility and a willingness to listen to others with more experience and wisdom. (Not blaming them.)It’s funny that each generation is ultimately griping about their own ability as parents. Who’s ultimately responsible for teaching and training the next generation? Basically you’re saying I failed as a parent but it’s the lazy kids fault for not figuring it out on their own. The cycle continues.
We could have had Douglas Utu, but apparently, he had a better relationship with the Oregon OL coach. I won't continue to beat a dead horse. I've made my feelings clear. I doubt Heupel makes a move this offseason. Next season may tell us a lot.Pretty good, but could it be better? Perhaps that’s the point when they’re saying he does just the bare minimum. Imagine going full throttle, maybe we’d have 2-3 5*. Just a thought.
That is one butt-ugly cars.Do you know what a "Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II" is? I saw one today. The "Cale Yarborough Special". . . there are 2 kinds, the "Cale Yarborough Special" and the "Dan Gurney Special". They look like the same car at first glance, aside from the stripes (one has blue stripes, the other has red), but when you look closer you can see at least 1 difference. The front end on one is shorter. There are probably other differences, but that's the one I notice.
I don't think there are many original Cale Yarborough Specials left around today. I saw an original Dan Gurney Special about a year ago in Townsend. I didn't even realize what I was looking at til I got home and looked it up. Turns out that the Dan Gurney Special I was looking at is thought to be the only "survivor" Cyclone Spoiler II DGS that still exists.

You know I’ve seen a lot of posts from people sharing how much they achieved in 2024. But in case someone needs to hear this, it’s okay if the only thing you did this past year was just get through it.
100%, idk why the national championship and some of the better playoff games are on week nights, it makes no sense from a ratings standpointI’ve wondered if the average Joe thinks the playoff just stretches on for too long, and if playing at odd times makes people less likely to watch (midweek games).
I might like a tighter schedule and all Friday and Saturday games. Probably tough with so much college basketball.
I personally think the playoffs went overboard with expansion. If anything, make it 10 teams tops. Sweet spot to me would be 8 teams no byes or 6 teams with 2 byes.I’ve wondered if the average Joe thinks the playoff just stretches on for too long, and if playing at odd times makes people less likely to watch (midweek games).

I believed this when I was younger. Now, unfortunately, I just believe it is because the new generations actually are worse than the ones before them going back 80 years. And older generations will always claim that younger generations are lazy, selfish, misguided, etc.
These cycles have gone on forever.
