Yeah, if I did anything like I used to I'd be stoved up from head to toe for about a week, .I am similar. Keep my pouches onsite in case I need to use them or just feel like it. Always have to build stairs etc because my amigos can't do the math and build them to code. Its fun to put the phone on airplane mode for a while and put tools on...its backache or headache .
Don't know about you, but my body would really struggle to go back to building all day every day. I work out a couple times a week, but it isnt the same. I can still kill it for a couple days when my boss has a sidejob for a family member or something and wants me to cut for him all day...but then i am sore for a couple days after that and my back hurts a lot. Very happy to supervise now instead of building all the time. You are correct in that a good worker giving all they have in construction works at least 10x as hard as most folks. We don't take breaks, or stop to socialize, and definitely do not pull out phones and scroll. We work til lunch, break, then work til quitting time. Most people have no idea and arent cut out for it.
I don’t like hearing this one bit.
Dave Hooker and the boy that can't comb his hair are an embarrassment. I mean anytime I've ever viewed them they seem under the influence. Not kidding. Yikes cringe fest.I just listened to the first 5-minutes. Here’s my thing with this, he starts it off by acting like it’s a huge deal only to then come around the 4 minute mark to say “well here’s why I don’t think it’s concerning”. Guys it’s January. The portal is coming to a close and there’s not going to be much news items for TN football. The media needs a story to sell and what better than “the star QB’s family at odds with coaching staff” as a headline? That said, I love what he says around the 5 minute mark. If Nico is elite, TN will either pay him more or he’ll go to the NFL; if he’s meh, then they’ll let him walk and we have good talent that’ll be ready. Nico is a great player, but we all need to stop acting like he’s a god of football. The kid has a lot of development that’s needed in the passing game and, to be frank, leadership skills as well.
Watching that I’m actually curious, and I don’t mean this to be an a-hole or anything, but does Dave have some kind of medical condition like Parkinson’s or tourettes? He couldn’t sit still.Dave Hooker and the boy that can't comb his hair are an embarrassment. I mean anytime I've ever viewed them they seem under the influence. Not kidding. Yikes cringe fest.
