I just found the full game on YT of that Syracuse game, gonna rewatch.
McNabb was in full Heisman mode that day 22 of 28 for 300 yards 2 TDs and ran for 53 yards and another TD. Thankfully Jamal Lewis and Tee were gashing their defense on the ground, if Tee had been more accurate it wouldn't have been a single point win. He went 9 of 26 for 143 yards passing...
There is talk about Alex Golesh getting a look from UF.
That would be a nightmare.
I don't know what David Cutcliffe said to Tee at the half of the GA game in Athens that year, but Tee's entire career trajectory changed during that 20 minutes. He had been inconsistent and unpredictable up to that point in the season. Watching it first hand, I hardly believed what I was seeing. I thought it was a fluke all the way to the USCjr game where he went 23-23 (or whatever it was) to start the game.
Tee was a completely different passer when he came out of halftime at GA and without that not even Al Wilson and that defense could have carried us to the NC.
I hope so. I really like the guy but I don't want to face him.
I think after getting look a Heup's offense this season Golesh will get a lot more interest.South Carolina fans like him too.
He’s going to get a P5 look at some point. A lot of college football fans will know his name by the end of this season.
I think Florida would swing higher. Golesh would be down on its list, IMO.
