I would vote to make a generic game week thread. If Nick makes a specific one mods can merge. Make it anonymous so no one can say we jinxed, but also gives people a place to post.
Example:
RF - CFB Week 10 Game Thread
Then we post about week 10 games including ours.
I hope my joke didn't accidentally offend him. @nicksjuzunk knows I like him and his posts a lot. Plus, I don't want him making fun of how weak I am in the gym. Or my trip to Thailand, when I prolly missed all the best stuff.I know you're joking because I know you, but your wording is such that Nick may take offense and perceive a personal attack if he isn't aware of your style of posting.
Yes people get superstitious but I think there are bigger things to worry about that have nothing to do with superstition. Like, are your gameday socks and under panties good to go and do you have enough orange Liquid Death for Saturday?Plenty of individuals are Superstitious about who makes the game thread. I personally don't care who makes one because every who makes the thread isn't the reason Tennessee WINS or LOSES.

Nuff saidWell, I started the thread on Tuesday and was just logging in to finish it out. I'm in the waiting room of the counseling office, as my son is in session.
There is no salt in this comment... I'm working two full-time jobs and trying to keep my head above water while keeping my family a family. As I've said before, I can't contribute like I used to and if the forum really wants to take over the thread, I'll bow out. I will always have it up by gametime, but I can't commit to having it done by a certain time before that. Once again, no salt here. It's just the facts of where I am in life, and if the board has different expectations that I can't fulfill, then that is completely ok with me. I don't own anything here. I appreciate the honor of insisting that I do it, and I'll do it, but it's got to fit into my life, because I'm responsible to manage my priorities.
Gotcha….I have a cousin who has a farm in Rayle,GA (just east of Athens). We hunt and fish there…I'm in central Georgia, about 35 minutes north of Macon. We've found over the last several years that peak rut in our area is usually around the end of October thru the first week of November. Bachelor groups aren't on the cameras anymore and does are starting to let their fawns go.
