Eason has been great all year I think he's a draft pick. Bailey is a training camp practice squad guy I think. Maybe we keep him.

These are the narratives that Knoxville/Vol media should be pushing; and, I'm not talking about 1 or 2 tweets, maybe an article...every single writer in that town or close by should be in harmony shouting it, along with calling out those who pushed and pushed: "bad loss, Arkansas...Oklahoma, Florida, Bama wins, no big deal".

Great day for Vols fans yesterday with the win and the losses by other SEC teams.

I understand that someone doesn't like the Heather Dinich quotes but last night on Sportscenter she dropped her projected field come Tuesday Night.

Dinich as of now has Tennessee at #9 but that will change with a win next week, probably tops out at #7 or no worse than #8 imo.

Dinich also had Indiana still in the CFP at #11 the losses by all Mississippi,TAMU and Alabama kept the Hoosiers in the Playoffs in her opinion.

SMU and Miami both are in her bracket Miami at #3 as conference champions and SMU at #10 that could change next week or after conference Championship game.

Alabama rolls in as the first team out due to the fact that the Big 12 Champion will get the #12 spot right now as 5th highest conference champions. Arizona State is in that spot.

Boise State still hanging onto the #4 spot and last bye in 1st round.

In the end is the big debate over putting a 3 loss SEC team in over a 2 loss team

Handwringing has begun over David Sanders going to visit Ohio State again, maybe the guy just doing a final I want to be sure trip.


Still think he stays with the Orange&White clad Vols in the end.

I want Indiana in now. One less SEC team. You know Bama will drop to 13, and will be in prime position to grab a spot if chaos happens next weekend. I do not want them in and don’t want to see them in the 1st round.

This x 1000000%!!! I hope we see the best version of this team next Saturday right in time for the playoffs! Come out focused and crisp. Have an AGGRESSIVE gameplan. Let Nico run the zone read and keep the ball, and be active in the run game. Be creative on offense. Call an attacking game on defense! Tim Banks, please wake up from your slumber and attack! Get a fair whistle hopefully and beat the crap out of Vandy!

Even with all the flaws in the current playoff system - it is so much more fun this time of year. The best part is watching the analysts and experts stumbling around finding excuses for their dumb narratives and predictions. LMAO all day.

Expand it to 16 teams so there is no bye and watch what happens. In the current format giving a bye to a Boise or an ACC/Big 12 school is ridiculous.

FWIW - the Vol programs are bigger than any one player. The angst about Sanders should end. I see a lot of posters selling their fears and narratives knowing that the only person's opinion that matters is Heup's. If Heup feels a need to change the position coach, he will. Look at his record here after having worked his way through a difficult situation for the program to the doorstep of the playoffs. There are things that can be improved - he knows that.

I hope Sanders does come because he is a good player, but f he does not see the value of wearing Orange I do not want him here. Give the spot to a guy with upside who does. NIL and the portal have changed how the game is recruited and played. We will be fine.
