Recruiting Forum 90 Day Weight Loss Thread

Wowza. Were you sedentary before? Also, haven’t seen a scale like that since Nam’
Yup, pretty much sit on my dead ass at work. I changed a few things around diet wise and walked/jogged about a total of close to 10 miles in sweats this week. Lulz on the scale. It was in the attic and is dead on accurate because I weigh myself at work on our calibrated industrial scales and did a comparison. We have a digital one but it’s like 7-8 pounds off. That’s why I use the Nam one.

Edit: Just as reference, I was over 255 about a year ago and lost 30 pounds just by changing diet alone.

A little over a year ago, i was 225-plus. Changed my diet and lost 20-plus. I lost it quick too. Obviously, this next step is going to take a little longer given this first week.

For my first weigh in: 192.1 lbs.

Do we go with what your number is on Sunday or do we average the whole week's numbers?

Most are just doing Sunday. Doing like a 3 day average might make more sense...but given this is a 3 month challenge, all those small weekly variations work themselves out.

Just got a workout in. Feeling good. First true workout in over a week. The local gym I got a short membership with just has waaaaay too many people there at one time. I sometimes wait to use a machine for over 10 minutes. With multiple machines I need to use I just said screw it tonight and used the free weights in the hotel fitness room. Ended up combining my Day 1 and Day 2 workouts into a modified plan to use for the remainder of the trip. Hopefully this works well enough until I get back into the states.
