Recruiting Forum 90 Day Weight Loss Thread

Man you guys make this **** complicated.
Nah. Blame media. They make so much money off fad bs. There’s so much misinformation out there. On a side note. I’m having Fkn lateral foot pain on my left foot that is making cardio harder to do.

It's pretty simple. Burn more calories than you need.

Your current mass requires X calories in a day to maintain the weight you're at, your body is already burning calories to exist. If you eat less calories you'll lose weight as your body will burn stored calories. If you eat more calories then you gain weight cause you're storing the extra calories you don't burn.

Exactly. Thats all ive ever needed to know, now practicing that however...

One more update. Hit the gym again tonight. My wife and I have been going for a month now. She hit all of her 3 month goals in one month. Really proud of her. She pushed me to do an assessment tonight too. In a month, I’ve lost more than 7 lbs of fat mass and picked up 4 lbs of muscle mass. Most importantly, dropped my visceral fat from 8 to 7. Damned encouraging.

This could be a bad week for me...I got today and tomorrow though to hopefully offset last night's disaster of a dinner.

Wanted to try wings at this place with my regular dinner, then ended up eating the kid's fries too... :| fell right off the wagon face first. Going to get in a walk at lunch today to try and offset the extra calories a bit.

yeah I had two giant chocolate chip cookies last night. Gonna do a 4 mile run today with my parents coming into town for the weekend...hope they like raw veggies.

@MoCo_Vol Since I’m going out of town in a couple of hours and won’t have a scale available. I’m going to post my numbers this morning for the weigh in.

I’m right there with you. I fell off the wagon hard last weekend and haven’t gotten back on yet. I’ve stayed with IF but I’ve ate so many damn carbs this week. Scared to step on the scale Sunday.

I eat so clean during the week and drink nothing but water. Salisbury steaks and mashed potatoes are so hard to pass up tonight

june 16: 190.2

Up two pounds- I’m in New Orleans with the family and all we are doing is eating.

I’m kind of thankful for this message board thread though, because otherwise I would probably keep on this eating trajectory all week. Instead, I’m gonna try to keep a better eye on things this upcoming week so that next Sunday is not too bad.
Otherwise, I could easily gain another 3-4 pounds no problem.
