I am probably doing good this week. I am in the middle of buying a second property on the lake and my nerves have been shot all week lol. Not eaten much at all

Was back within a pound of where I should have started this week lol....amazing how badly those 2 days of questionable eating backfired last week.

Next week I'm going to start trying to get in some exercise.

Here's a super interesting longitudinal study on intermittent fasting - INTERMITTENT FASTING AND HUMAN METABOLIC HEALTH

The tl;dr is that there's no evidence that intermittent fasting is harmful to metabolism, and the evidence actually points to improved metabolic profiles after intermittent fasting. Lots of implications for the use of fasting and calorie restriction in managing chronic conditions like diabetes.

The binge eating is very true however, and intermittent fasting isn't a panacea. If someone is prone to overeating, you might want to steer clear of IF and just focus on calorie restriction and eating on a regular schedule. Personally, I like fasting for the mental clarity it gives me, plus it's a great way to test my willpower.
 
Three weeks in and still going. Leg day today. No fun. Anyone finding any particularly filling and enjoyable foods that don’t sabotage you? Feel like I’m eating grilled chicken all the time.

Was flirting with that 271.6 again, but had a family reunion yesterday. Didn't eat a ton of food, but it was a lot of the bad stuff. So I guess it sat on the gut harder than expected.

Starting the exercising in the morning and going to at least get in a morning session before work, let's see if I can turn things up a bit!

Was 212 yesterday got the munchies late last night. Smh, damn u mary jane!

MJ makes the diet so much harder. Especially if you are doing IF. No more late night munchies or Sunday morning wake and bake breakfast.
