i dont think CP Dthomas or Bray belong in the top 50 - that is 1st round to top half of 2nd grade

Jhunt would be closest imo but i would still have him on outside looking in

Jhunt - late 2nd early 3rd
Bray - 3rd
Dthomas - 3rd
CP - 4-5th

You don't follow the draft much do you?

Hunter will be a first round pick based on his potential and the fact he will blow up at workouts.

Bray will go early second, he will most likely be the second QB taken and could go first round if he works out well. He has the tools and someone will reach on him with this being one of the worst years for QBs in a long time. Depending on where Barkley goes will tell you how quick someone will jump on Bray.

Thomas will go late first but most likely second round.

CP could go anywhere from the first to third round. Just because he has some work to do route wise doesnt matter when you have the big play ability he does. Most likely hes a second round pick when scouts see him up close. He will be a Cobb type player who will start on returns and then get groomed into a star WR.

ask Dallas how good they are doing teaching Dez to run a route and read a defense

That's a valid point. I think as a GM you have to sit down and talk with the young man in the interview process. If he is going to be a diva, isn't intelligent, doesn't have the work ethic, etc. then you pass... I am just saying he is an elite talent. Someone might decide he is worth the risk much earlier...

CP needs a lot of work at receiver. ZR is a much better receiver than him and that says a lot.

Don't do this. ZRo is playing well but he's producing from receiving less attention than the two on the outside. He's been in the same system for four years. No slight to Zro really but just the truth. He does run better routes technically but he's not a better receiver man.

CP's biggest problem is inexperience in this system and timing at times.

Yea Patterson is a different player than Bryant so definitely agree with this.

I personally think teams are going to see him as a bigger version of Randall Cobb and take him on his play making ability and groom him.

I think teams see the best deep threat since Randy Moss coming into the league. His speed and change of direction at 6'3 are unmatched in recent years. And then he'll go over the middle. He can catch the back shoulder fade too. Plus you add he's a really dynamic returner that effects field position. He may have concentration issues at times but he's a huge huge talent.

Another point would be, CP has dominated at every level of football he has been at prior to UT. He hasn't been forced to run routes to be effective. In high school and JUCO, all he had to do was run by people and catch the ball... If (Big IF) he returns, then he can work on these things and be a 1st rounder... He has the talent...

if your going to say someone doesnt follow the draft prob not a good idea to post something that makes it 100% obvious you don't

"Bray will go early second, he will most likely be the second QB taken"

that is enough to disqualify the whole opinion right there - not 1 Fing time in the last 10 years has the 2nd QB on the board gone in the 2nd round - anything else you want to educate me on ol wise one?

It could certainly happen - it would just imo be a reach - no doubt he has the body of a NFL 1st rounder - if he stayed 1 more year i think he would be - i just don't think right now he is worth the risk to go really high in the draft - it is hard to justify taking a guy 1st/2nd when he has very little chance of playing WR for you - i get that it has happened before and people have been drafted only on raw ability before but it would be a very high risk in those rounds and i think it is more likely that he drops

now if he goes and runs a 4.31 at the combine throw what i just said out the window

CP is the type of guy that could run a 4.2 at the combine. Then the GMs will go crazy and someone will reach for the physical talent. Percy Harvin was more accomplished but less polished as WR and the Vikings took him in the 1st round.

Same thing I've been saying. CP will blow up at the combine. There have been a ton of guys who's draft stock has soared based on combine numbers. Remember D stallworth

I said he was a better receiver so i mean he runs better routes etc, and he is. CP is raw and he is a hell of a playmaker but he does not get open much and he has missed some passes. CP is just not a good receiver now, he is an amazing playmaker though. JMO He needs to stay because it would benefit him greatly. Top 15 pick next year for sure if he stays.

If true, maybe they're going ahead and announcing it now to rally the team in hopes of a win vs uga or bama? Just a guess.

Exactly my thoughts...and I would love to see them beat Georgia. I don't want to see them back into the SEC championship game again.

How was Zro when he had to play outside all game last year? He hardly ever got open and he was getting more 1v1 coverage. He's got favorable matchups inside(LBs, S, or No.3 CB) and if he goes pro that will be where he has his most success. CP has to face much better players week in and week out. That's my argument in this case.
