Gotta agree with Nick on this one, our offense is elite. Imagine what we would do with a defense that forced some three and outs or could hand us good field position on a consistent basis.

I don't know why I even try to put together some stats. I don't think anyone even reads them. They just talk crap, LOL.

I find it funny that Kiffin and crew may give up as many points as we did today. Would've done a lot better in the SEC versus other pro style teams and with more NFL athletes to choose from in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

Hope the Ducks kill these fools.

Troy scored 24 against Miss State who has been as high as 11 in the polls, though we all know they came back down to earth and will have a hard road the rest of the way.

Mizzou is averaging 11.75 ppg against ranked opponents

Vandy is averaging 11 ppg against ranked opponents

Troy is averaging 24 ppg against ranked opponents.

Troy averaging
422.5 passing against SEC this year
224 rushing against the SEC this year

The same miss state that has gotten beaten down by both ranked teams they played. Your "proof" is based on how many points Troy scored against a garbage state team.

I think vandy and mizzou have better offenses than Troy and he doesn't. What seems to be the problem? If you came to a forum for more than opinions I can't help you.

I always try to be rational, so I'll show the other side of the coin, our defense. Now, just for the sake of realism, let's see how our defense has fared against like opponents this year for our final three opponents:

It sadly confirms what we already know. Our defense is horrific beyond words. However, based on the strength of our offense vs. very, very average offenses (97th, 92nd, 116th) scoring. I believe we will win.

With the lack of speed in this D, they should play a 4-3 cover 2 with five underneath and try a bend but don't break philosophy. Very similar to stuff Wilcox had to do.

We're a handful of plays from a 7-2 record and folks here just assume we get waxed by Vandy and Mizzu... Now I remember why I took a three week break from VN.

I like this sight, but I'll say that avoiding VN during the season has helped me be a better fan. Colin Powell's famous 70/40 plan has done me well. Don't know anymore than 70% of info of things going on, but no less than 40%.
