Makes me wonder if NCAA punked them. Like oh you gonna play him? Ever heard of SMU football?

No, the only reason they would withdraw is that a settlement has been discussed. They most likely have agreed for him to sit a few games and will then be eligible. You don’t lose your leverage with a lawsuit because the NCAA tries to intimidate you.

This sounds like the kind of absolute bullsh!t that will happen in real life

I can't decide if I want Muschamp fired. On the one hand - I don't think he's a good enough coach or runs a program well enough to beat a Pruitt led (read: no longer dysfunctional) Tennessee team. I can't recall who, but someone summed it up best a few days - let Muschamp linger around like a stale fart.

On the other hand, I'd love to see their surprisingly decent recruiting class fall apart. Marshawn Lloyd seems to love him some Muschamp.
Thomas Brown (RB coach) is the one keeping Lloyd in the fold

They’ll probably work out repayment for Wiseman. Negotiate a small suspension. They have leverage if it was truly discussed when the signed him about what happened. I hope they come down hard on Penny though because Vols.

Penny will give Wiseman five times the repayment amount in a paper bag. Done.

You could if the AD or President wasnt behind you in that lawsuit.

I just read an article that said Dave Clawson would be the #1 choice at South Carolina if Muschamp got fired. He's a really good coach, but I don't see them giving him time to get his stuff implemented. Even at lower levels his teams didn't get good till his 5th or 6th year.

i think the issue with him would be recruiting. he's done great at Wake Forest, but that's a different animal, and is a program that has to have time to develop.

he could do what he's done at Wake faster at USCe because of the recruiting advantages USCe has over Wake, but i don't know that he's gonna make them UGA level elite...at least any time soon.

but i think Clawson is a really good coach, and you could a whole lot worse....question would be how much time would he really get?

Still think South Carolina would do well to hire Dantonio (who is an alum/former player) if he gets canned. Needs to reset his clock and get a fresh start. Something went wrong at MSU and I bet he wouldn't make the same mistake in Columbia.

There was some muschamp sound bite that Lloyd retweeted with the caption about really loving muschamp.

And his twitter is basically a uscjr advertisement page.

I had hoped he’d jump ship but short of a coaching change I think he’s a 12/18 signee.

E. Lansing sucks. hard to recruit there i would imagine. especially when you're probably only getting leftovers from OSU, MICH etc....can probabl build a team over a couple/three years and have a run at 'em every 3rd year or so, but i don't see MSU ever being the type of program that just "reloads" and stacks great on great consistently.

if MD is left alone, he'll get MSU built back up to something pretty good again...and then it'll fall off a bit, and he'll build it back up....i think that's just the cycle you are on at programs like that. USCe, UK, MSU, Ole Miss, MO etc....kinda the same way in the SEC.

Full 25 minutes on the treadmill.

3 minutes walking 1 minute running = one circuit

Did 5 total and a 5 minute cooldown, ya'll need to sprint more. I feel it from the stomach down...hope this helps the health.
Kewl......I went and had my 5th Popeyes Spicy Chicken Sandwich in 5 days today....................................

Pennys been dirty for awhile
He took money and got his mom a house and job when he went to play for the western dolphins and coach Pete bell
Then didn’t like the offense he ran and wanted to quit...but still wanted his mom to keep the house. He learned a valuable lesson that day as Nick Nolte approached him with balled up fists!

This must have hurt..lol

Nah..I’ll give credit when it’s due he’s tough but he’s a Jr, He definitely should have been playing like this at the start of the season and being selfish at bama Didint help either but I think that play made him entirely forget the “butch jones era mentality” and awakened something inside of him.truly fun and inspiring to watch especially if he wins out.

I don’t think he can leave all that shizz behind in Lansing tho.

Nah, they’re in “negotiations” with the NCAA right now.

This is just part of the dance the 2 entities are doing.

This is gonna get “settled”.

Memphis declares Wiseman ineligible.
Memphis petitions the NCAA to reinstate.
NCAA reinstates Wiseman with penalties.

Will be a combination of “paying” back the $11k and a # of missed games.

The belief is the # will be somewhere in the 6-10 games realm.

And it will be over.
