I think 7-5 has us in either the Belk Bowl or Music City Bowl.

LSU will be in the playoff. One of UGA/Bama could easily be in the playoff and the other will probably be in the Sugar Bowl. Florida in the Outback Bowl. Then it’s between us, Auburn, and A&M. I vote A&M goes to the Taxslayer Bowl.

So I have a theory on Trey. In the medical world, multiple blood clots means you get anticoagulation for life. Trey and his team somehow devised a plan for him to be able to play. Also, he doesn’t practice through the week.

I bet/wonder if he takes lovenox shots throughout the week to keep himself anticoagulated and then holds it on game day. Being off of blood thinners for one day probably leads to much less risk than daily. And this would allow him to play since lovenox is typically dosed every 12 hours.

If this is the case, how would he fare in the NFL where I doubt he could miss practice as much as he currently does.

Well, I haven't really thought it out; and I now realize I don't know enough about the ins and outs of it to think it out effectively. We did very well last year. And if we continue doing well, maybe it is our friend.

The NFL has gone a long way in limiting practice time as it is. I'm willing to guess that if Trey shines like we expect that he can, his team will have no issue limiting his practice time even more

OJT is very real, and it was a dirty beyotch to us this year.
I knew there would be a steep curve, but not Georgia State steep, I guarantee you if he could get a mulligan he would have really treated that like a regular game instead of extra practice and evaluation week, play that game today and we roll them by 30.

Look...record didn't and still doesn't really matter this year as much as obvious and clear improvement, and development. You have to just be a contrarian jackass troll to not admit we have seen that in spades..across the board.

Yes on defense there's no question we are better than last year and the OL is pass protecting a lot better in particular. Even the edge rush has gotten a little better. The only real area I'm not sure about is RB and QB at this point.

I have been to Gainesville 5 times to watch TN play and I have never had any problem with any of there fans. Heck, I would stop on the way to and from the game to have a beer with them. If our fans our polite no issues, when you show you a$$ that is where you have problems. Not say your family did just saying, I have never had a single problem with their fans.

Not sure when you have been, but the rivalry has calmed down the last roughly 10-12 years. I went to Gainesville in 1999, and it was rough. My brother is mild mannered too, and a UF fan picked him out and said something to him. Then the walk back to the car was quite interesting. Back in those days, the fans did not like each other.

We haven’t even become bowl eligible and Saban hasn’t even retried and we are talking about Pruitt going to Bama. Peak VN.

I said IF he ever got the opportunity, he would go. Not that they were about to do so. Heck, he better get to six wins and a bowl here. No excuse not to at this point. But if they crap the bed and lose the next two and struggle next year which is year four, we could be looking again.
