Imo you have to give it a shot to see if he can handle it. You can’t go into next year with him being the 6th man.

I'm thinking they'll start Guarantano this week. For some reason I just get the feeling that they're really not that high on Maurer. My way too early prediction going into next year is Guarantano is our starter with Bailey being the backup.

That is when coaches have to get some added bonues found in the transfer market. Transfers count only against the 85-limit, so they do not affect signing class numbers.

At this point in time JG is objectively the better player. He's also the starter next year barring a transfer on his own accord.

Maybe I'm in the minority but at the moment I'm not a believer in Maurer. If you go back and really study how he's played, he really hasn't been that impressive overall. We as fans wanted some beacon of light we could get behind after the disastrous start, and that was Brian. In reality he wasn't ready and needed a redshirt year. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if we found a grad transfer going into next year. If not I think Guarantano is our starter at the beginning of next year.

@BruinVol , why don't you start a recruiting numbers thread in the FF, and shepherd it full time? I think you could run a discussion on this topic on that main page for a long long time. You might set some kind of record in the FF for thread longevity with it. And a lot of them could benefit from your numbers game.
