Tres niños. Used to be a run 3-5 every day or other day guy. Gotta stay healthy.

More importantly, want to see the babies before work, etc...etc. And all the duties associated.

I got a afternoon schedule again, so I was hopin ta get at least 6 hours of sleep...but nope..the pain strikes again...4-5 hours before it gets so unbearable I just can't sleep any more..

It’s not bad for us. The league has gotten good enough that it really doesn’t matter. Maybe 6-8 years ago, we needed better records out of conference but not anymore.

Let’s hope it only matters in seeding but if the sec ends up being down it does hurt us in some degree.

Before Saturday I was convinced we were going to be a bubble team if we don’t get good news from the ncaa. I don’t feel as strong about that now but Saturday was perfect when it comes to foul issues. We won’t be that lucky very often I am afraid

You can feel the change in culture with this Tennessee football team. There definitely has been addition by subtraction, removing some of the past regime's players who were negative influences. Your alpha dogs have stepped up in the locker room, setting the example for younger players. Alignment is getting better every game with the coaching staff and players. There's serious momentum with this team, and you have real buy-in from the players. Leadership and culture starts from the top of the organization, and we have had this kind of alignment in the AD and football program in a long time. Can't wait for Senior Day against Vanderbilt to give this team a proper send-off.

Lady Vols are fun to watch again. Can't wait to see how dominate they become once Kellie has 'em taking care of the ball.

And the men play tonight! Football tomorrow night, I'm excited for these next 2 weeks. This is honestly my favorite time of year for sports, college basketball is in full swing. NFL is in playoff chase mode and college football is still on going.

I want the Vols to embarrass Mizzou just like they did us last year! Odom showed no sign of letting up last year when we were clearly down! So hope Pruitt does the same if given the chance!
I’ve come to enjoy the rivalry. There has been a lot of frustration in this game backAnd forth and that’s a good source for a rivalry.... even if they are far away.

We’ve been on the short end more than them so it’s time for them to get their taste of it

I hope we play well enough to win the ball game and I think we will. I do not think we are in a position to embarrass Mizzou this Saturday. I would like to be proven wrong.

Anything worth revisiting the last 10-15 pages other than Leb/Bruin's dead horse diatribe? I tried to keep up yesterday, but damn if he doesn't beat you into submission and make this place miserable to even browse.
Not everybody with the submit. 😎

I'm kinda the opposite. I just want to permanently place them into a KY type "rivalry" (where they belong!😅) and focus the frustrating each other thing with Fl, Ga and UA.

I'm being sorta elitist I guess but that's the truth about what I *want.

Blows my mind...These are “Flashes”,not consistent Good football from JG.Hes still very close to his own dog house.I hope they start em lol

Exactly. He's been a capable relief pitcher. But he is not a 4 quarter QB. He's good for a quarter or two, then he begins reverting back to slow or no reads and late deliveries. He does better when he reacts and doesn't think. When he thinks he becomes a statue and just don't ask him to pre-snap read a D. It will be wrong 90+% of the time.

Chaney and the O-line are going to have to manage the game well if he plays the whole thing.

After rewatching Florida vs Missouri last night.... their secondary is horrible. If our OL holds up (i don’t think their pass rush is anything special) they cannot guard us.

Yes - this could be fun if they can get the ball to JJ and Quez often. If they get established early, it will also open the run game. Mizzou zone blitzes a lot to get any kind of pressure, so I expect the O-line has been practicing on that. If they block well the secondary will be exposed for the mediocrity they are. Acy is their best DB at S and good sized, so they will use him a lot when JJ is in the slot. But they also need him in run support so he is probably going to be close to the box some of the time. Odom will try to scheme his way to a decent performance, but physically they do not match up well at all.

Plus, the way Odom tried to attack Pruitt in the press last year. I'm sure Pruitt wants to beat him Odom pretty bad.

Unrelated to Tennessee football post forthcoming.

I have a strong love of football, I always have. So does my brother, we were both high school QBs, both started 3 years, both go to every Tennessee home game. It's kind of in our blood, and we've always dreamed of coaching together one day. I haven't until recently been in a position to allow the time dedicated to coach, but he has. After 2 years as a QB coach at a local hs, he was promoted to interim OC late in the year, and just accepted the offer to be OC next year. He's asked me to be on his offensive staff next year, and I'm completely stoked. This is a minor dream come true for me.

Now you can resume your scholarship numbers talk.
