I think it was Simonton who asked the initial question that Warrior shot down. Then look who kept asking Warrior to explain why he wouldn't answer the original question.

@David Ubben still a troll!

Vols are on a 3 game win streak and a game away from bowl eligibility and trying to ask the best safety in the SEC right now about why he won't answer a stupid question.

I think they have to be placed in the portal before any official contact could be made. I figure "backdoor channels" were being used though, aka Fill Phulmer on the burner. I can see why they didn't like it, but no need to air it publicly like a bish. Could've just been an adult and called us directly like Jeremy did to squash it.

13.1.1.3.4 Transfer From Institution Placed on Probation by Committee on Infractions or Independent Resolution Panel. It is not necessary for an institution to obtain authorization through the notification of transfer process to recruit a student-athlete at an institution that has been placed on probation with sanctions that preclude it from competing in postseason competition during the remaining seasons of the student-athlete’s eligibility. However, the student-athlete’s institution must be notified of the recruitment and may establish reasonable restrictions related to the contact (e.g., no visits during class time), provided such restrictions do not preclude the opportunity for the student-athlete to discuss transfer possibilities with the other institution [see Bylaw 14.7.2-(c)]. [D] (Adopted: 1/10/92, Revised: 1/9/06 effective 8/1/06, 10/30/14, 8/8/18 effective 10/15/18, 8/8/18 effective 8/1/19, 12/20/18)

13.1.1.3.5 Transfer From Institution Ineligible for Postseason Competition—Academic Performance Program. On approval by the Committee on Academics, an institution may contact a student-athlete at another institution whose team is ineligible for postseason competition during the remaining seasons of the student-athlete’s eligibility due to sanctions pursuant to the Academic Performance Program, without obtaining authorization through the notification of transfer process. The student-athlete’s institution must be notified of the recruitment and may establish reasonable restrictions related to the contact (e.g., no visits during class time), provided such restrictions do not preclude the opportunity for the studentathlete to discuss transfer possibilities with the other institution [see Bylaw 14.7.2-(d)]. [D] (Adopted: 1/9/06 effective 8/1/06, Revised: 8/7/14, 10/30/14, 8/8/18 effective 10/15/18)

So basically Odom singled out Pruitt, and the reason he knew Pruitt was in contact was because he reached out to him to "establish reasonable restrictions", no rules were broken and it's Missouri's own fault for cheating. If anything it made Odom look like a d-bag. He didn't single out any other head coaches that were contacting those players, and we all know there were plenty that did.

Update on J.J. Peterson…

"J.J. is a typical guy that’s highly recruited that people have unrealistic expectations on him. He got here in September. He played in four games on special teams. He had winter surgery and missed all of spring ball and summer. He’s had one fall camp. He’s doing a really nice job. He’s had some guys who have been ahead of him so he didn’t get quite as many reps. I have seen lots of improvement with him over the last 4-6 weeks

I mean when you start a question with "When you feel like...when you didn't want to answer...."

Nigel kind of gives him a look and still response and then Ubben hits him with this gem..."No, I'm asking what makes you not want to answer"
I would have had to say, "Well, David, it's because you are being a total prick and douchebag about it. Is that clear enough for you?"

Ain't nothing for Nigel to belt a man. Just ask Shy Tuttle. His old man got in a squabble or two in his time at Tennessee as well.
