Florida getting Blackshear is one reason they to me aren't going to be an easy out. All the teams are "getable" because Barnes is an elite Xs & Os guy, and he still has a group of guys that have been in his system for awhile and he obviously can develop talent.

It's more of a is there enough time for it all to start clicking with the amount of young guys that are getting minutes.
i agree with that.

Does Schiano I actually think he has a chance of ever getting another head coaching job other than Rutgers? I do have to admit that he has a lot of balls making such outlandish demands of the only possibility he has of getting another job

If we end up with a top 15 class, I'll be pretty damn excited honestly.

Top 20 should be expected, and 10-15 is a good class. Once we're competing for the East and making trips to Atlanta we'll have to be in the top 10 flirting with the top 5 every year to elevate to CFP potential.
should be top 15 for sure

I get that Catbone is the piss in our cheerios, but the BasketVOLs will be pulling off something unexpected if they finish in the top 3 SEC regular season.

Kentucky, Auburn, LSU (how is Wade not gone?) and now even Florida are all sitting with better rosters. Doesn't mean Barnes can't beat 'em or that he won't...but we lost a lot and Bowden/Turner can't do it all.

Fulkerson and Pons have stepped up some but neither have elevated to the level you need to replace Grant/Admiral...and probably won't. So going to need other players to produce outside those 4 returning guys. JJJ has shown some flashes, and he's a fantastic rebounder/defender already just need him to get to that 8-12 ppg range to help out on offense more.

Exactly. We will continue to improve, Barnes clearly knows how to develop. I think we finish top 6 SEC and squeak into the tournament

I believe that if we win 8 or more games next season we'll finish top 10. I think the momentum we built this year carrying over into next year will help as long as we don't regress. If we were to win 10 look out.

If Nieds pulls Smalls from Washington...that would make my year.

I don't think Nieds has been out west so hard for Kaho (not that he's a bad get)....so he's gotta be swimming in deeper waters and from a need/want/stars/rating/everything type level Smalls is the biggest tuna to snag on that coast right now imo.

All I ever saw on the golf course were blue-haired grannies. Maybe I need to polish up my game and get out there and try again.

Saving y'all a click:

When Kirkland returned in January after the holiday break, he said, "Things were picking up really fast" under Pruitt's new coaching staff, and he added that he was "very uncomfortable" with how quickly he was going back into full practice.

"I was extremely nervous and didn't know how my leg was going to react," Kirkland said. "I'm wearing a big brace. Still swelling, still in pain, still not able to do the things that I'm normally used to."

...

"If I had more time for my knee, I feel like I would've been healthier long term, you know," he said. "Probably would've healed up. Probably would've still been playing ball, honestly."

Dang. Still not great. Would've been 14th last year. Of course we know that Hyatt is getting bumped by Rivals which will increase his composite. Don't know if anyone else is. I do know its an absolute crime what 247 has Eason ranked
Overall score will be low because LSU, Bama, GA, and OSU are taking everyone.
