Does Schiano I actually think he has a chance of ever getting another head coaching job other than Rutgers? I do have to admit that he has a lot of balls making such outlandish demands of the only possibility he has of getting another job

I thought that was interesting, too. Now that I think about it, I wonder if Rutgers decided not to hire him with his history and is pushing the narrative about his demands.

Right...oddly enough I just have a feeling Auburn shows up to play and prevents there from even being a debate about Alabama in the top 4.

I totally agree, but then you can also look at the fact that bama is on the edge right now and still has a slight chance to get in with a decisive win/blowout, so I think they will come in on fire....

Dammit Slick I have to seem scary some how....ruin everything

Kirkland said in the article that he didn't think Pruitt was to blame. @David Ubben maybe you can let your readers know that in your next tweet and stop this crusade you have going against UT. Better yet, take your azz back to the BIG12.

Saving y'all a click:

When Kirkland returned in January after the holiday break, he said, "Things were picking up really fast" under Pruitt's new coaching staff, and he added that he was "very uncomfortable" with how quickly he was going back into full practice.

"I was extremely nervous and didn't know how my leg was going to react," Kirkland said. "I'm wearing a big brace. Still swelling, still in pain, still not able to do the things that I'm normally used to."

...

"If I had more time for my knee, I feel like I would've been healthier long term, you know," he said. "Probably would've healed up. Probably would've still been playing ball, honestly."

This is trash! I’m tired of the hit pieces on our program. Go do some digging and write some hit pieces on Bama or some other program. @David Ubben, I hope Pruitt kicks you out of the media room for trash like this. I wish he would shut the entire media room down and not allow anymore access to the program, except hand picked ones that he approves.

USC and Florida State are probably in a bidding war as we speak. Maybe New England. The too tried to hire him but it didn’t take

Kirkland wanted to avoid further injury to protect his draft chances. He wanted to focus on rehabbing full-time, not on anyone else's schedule. I'm surprised he's running through the T.
You think the NCAA does anything or is it a minor deal? From an outside perspective it doesn't look great.

At no time does it say Kirkland raised his concerns with, well, anyone.

The rest of the article is the medical staff that was replaced. Seemed like there was a lot of saltiness because Pruitt wanted them to give the players a moment to "shake it off" before running to them.
Not sure I have a problem with that. Not exactly uncommon.

what am I missing here with reading about Ubben, Kirkland, Pruitt, NCAA issues, knee, and running through the T? Is Kirkland now coming out saying we didn't handle his injury/surgery correctly and he felt rushed or unsafe to return and we pushed him back too soon?

If so, why is he coming out about it now to shed negative light on the program?

Seriously, finally get a coach and stupid writers try to ruin his career.

Why would they do anything? First, Kirkland wanted to transfer, and UT was supportive. Then he sat out all spring with his knee. Then he wanted to rehab in FL and focus on preparing for the draft instead of going through summer workouts and fall camp. He graduated and was ready for the next step. And UT supported all of it.
