But but Pruitt made them practice really fast because the old regime was soft as DR cotton. That seems like the real issue, he wasn't use to being pushed. Why would they do anything? First, Kirkland wanted to transfer, and UT was supportive. Then he sat out all spring with his knee. Then he wanted to rehab in FL and focus on preparing for the draft instead of going through summer workouts and fall camp. He graduated and was ready for the next step. And UT supported all of it.
He was treated so badly, he's running through the T this week. This is trash! I’m tired of the hit pieces on our program. Go do some digging and write some hit pieces on Bama or some other program. @David Ubben, I hope Pruitt kicks you out of the media room for trash like this. I wish he would shut the entire media room down and not allow anymore access to the program, except hand picked ones that he approves.
Yeah and considering the previous staff was doing a hit job on our roster I don’t blame pruitt for firing them. How many players had to “ retire”.I understand the want for a divide between medical and coaches but this isn’t 1950 where Coaches are forcing players to play through injury or they will pull their scholarship. I don’t see the issue in a coach hiring a medical staff he’s comfortable And familiar with which is what Pruitt did with Geronimo. Most of their job is rehab and maintenance anyway. So it’s important for coaches and medical staff to be on the same page.

One of those DAs just about wrecked me the same way coming back from UT med center a couple of weeks ago..just drifted right over into me..thankfully I saw him out of the corner of my eye and was able to scoot over enough while frantically laying in the horn that he didn't hit me..the idiot almost sandwiched me into a truck..Just driving along and pass a KUB truck and he's over in my lane and he knocks the mirror off my truck.. Waiting for his supervisor.
Former employees with Tennessee's sports medicine staff told Outside the Lines that in those first months, Pruitt tried to pressure athletic trainers and interfere with how sports medicine staff managed injured athletes. They said he would yell at them to hold off on immediately tending to fallen athletes.
