I hate these motherf@&$ers. I bet Tennessee brings in more grant money (especially if you exclude the Vandy’s medical center), and more kids from Tennessee actually go to Tennessee. Meanwhile, they can keep on pretending theyre an Ivy League school with their nose up in the air, but they sure are gonna take the money from the SEC which is by and large a product of the culture of working class folks they sure do love to despise.
Me, too! That was the moment I became hooked as a Tennessee football fan. No other sport or team has ever come close to moments like that from the Vols football teams.Always love Dale for that Int against Bama...that year was when I first started watching the Vols after our family moved to Knoxville from Texas.
If anyone is looking for actual advice, I’ll tell you what I tell my clients for Thanksgiving
1. Light Protein breakfast
2. Light Protein lunch (depending on when you eat the big meal)
3. Bring a delicious low calorie side dish you can really enjoy without feeling deprived and let it do a lot of the work on your plate.
4. Fill your plate with turkey and half of what you normally would eat at the big meal. Give 5 minutes before going back for a second serving.
5. If things get out of hand, borrow some calories from Friday to balance things out.
Just some general tips
It kind of pisses me off how South Carolina and Arkansas people are expecting to pull some proven stud coach in there. Know your place people. Urban Meyer isn't interested in needle peter programs like those. It's so crazy how the SEC played out for several years. Amazing QB's at programs you would never expect, usual East power programs in the dump. Great coaches getting their start at bottom feeder programs..
All the stars had to align.
Now all those programs walking around with their chests puffed out. Acting like they're better than what they have and demanding top tier coaches.
Smh.
I'm going to have to make it top 10 instead of 5.I have to add John Ward to those lists of great Vols. He made the game come to life. There wasn’t all the options for watching games as there are now. Ward painted a beautiful picture with his words. His phrases are synonymous with Tennessee Football and Basketball. I loved listening to him call basketball games in my room as a kid. The Nerf hoop on the back of the door. “Bottom” “He guns..... BANG” “Nix..... Clicks” “You walked sir”.
Loved John Ward.

Start out small. 20 - 50$ per game. Don’t do teasers unless it’s nfl games getting 6 or 7 point favorites down to pickems. Don’t be scared to take favorites straIght up to win. Even tho you’ll have to be like 100 to win 70 or something.Do any of you guys bet on sports? I want to try it out on some of the weekend games, but I have no idea what I am doing. Any tips?
I loved listening to him do the bb games as well. And John and Bill Anderson doing the football games and John painting another masterpiece. Got my love of the Vols on those Saturdays listening while we stacked wood or raked leaves or had just returned from a hunt and were cleaning and dressing the kills!I have to add John Ward to those lists of great Vols. Reggie is why I went to UT and why I became a UT fan. Grew up with bammer alumni family and they tried to force feed me the bear, Joey Jones, and that awful crimson color. It backfired as they always took us to the bama UT game in Knoxville because we always vacationed in Gatlinburg before it became the cluster it is now. The 1982 TSIO made me a Vol fan for life.I would think Reggie would have to be on some of these lists.
I have rarely seen a defensive lineman take over a game like he could......ask LSU.
Praying all have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving !!
GBO beat the stuffing out of andy !!!!
If Tennessee wins by 50 on Saturday it won't be enough. I despise Vanderbilt. The level of disrespect for the Tennessee program by Vanderbilt fans makes me an angry man.Know for sure when it comes to football, they've been running around with their hands stuck out forever, then looking down on those feeding them.
I love this story! Love hearing someone say "that awful crimson color" because they all think everyone should agree with them that it's the superior color in sports....and it's so not.Reggie is why I went to UT and why I became a UT fan.
