Is there a chance that Pruitt/Fulmer actually WANT the MCB? Recruiting purposes? Easier win?
dunno why anyone cares which bowl we get. It’s in state. We will have a ton of fans there. Also, Jackson Lampley’s dad is one of the chairs which is another plus. Also, the kids will probably get better goodie bags from the MCB then the Tax Slayer Bowl.

Saw on the Music City Bowl. They recently increased their payout by nearly $2mm to be a part of the "pool of 6" bowls. Essentially on equal footing now with outback and gator.

But isn't the money split? Logistically it does make sense. They would certainly spend a hell of a lot less money bussing everyone 3 hours across I-40.

Would they fly to Jax?

I believe it's been stated that we get a cut before it's split.
The more the payout, the more our share (my understanding)

Thanks for this.

Let’s face it, Gator bowl stinks. Save your money and have a nice weekend in Nashville. Orange, Citrus or Outback much better and More desirable Than MCB but it was either MCB or Gator for Tennessee. Jacksonville sucks TBH. MCB makes much more sense this year.

Gator Bowl has the benefit of warm weather. MCB will probably be at night and freezing cold.
