If we take another running back is Grimes an option. I think I read he played there quite a bit for his high school team. Maybe TE for his frame. If he is even an option

That would be great because IMO we have some solid pieces in the defensive backfield. If he relegates Theo, Shamburger, McCollough or Flowers to the bench that would be ideal.

As someone said not mich difference between between those closed 5-15... all interchangeable. Depending on which ones assert themselves and how well they’re coached, top 5 class.

Obviously what Clemson signed is markedly different than everyone else my word

Len’Neth, Tee, Ty is he sticks around, and Eric Gray are some good backs. I’m not sold on Small, he looks like he won’t be able to put on the weight. JMO

I don't think any other Safety really stood out to secure an obvious starting roll this next year. I think Theo has a good shot at being one of the starting Safeties, but I think nothing is guaranteed.

Idk man placing 3rd in the big 12 and getting bounced in the 2nd round while having Kevin Durant and DJ Augustine is criminally underachieving. Barnes has also only won one conference tournament (1993 providence). Bruce has won 3 conference tournaments (last year and a couple at UWM).

Also worth noting Bruce career winning % is .725 ( 573 - 217 ) both have 1 final four.

People always throw this out about Durant’s team and never do the research. I really don’t feel like doing it again, but I will just say that all of the contributors on that team were freshmen or sophomores with most being freshmen. There were no veteran contributors. It’s a really lazy argument.

I don't think any other Safety really stood out to secure an obvious starting roll this next year. I think Theo has a good shot at being one of the starting Safeties, but I think nothing is guaranteed.

My ideal two would be Lawrence (more athletic) and McCoulough (the thumper)

He's 190s already though...

Still this class has 3 RBs and 2 of 'em are 220+ in Whitehead/Hodge.

I would not be surprised to see one of the linebackers, inside or outside to grab a spot. I know Bennett and Deandre Johnson would be projected starters as of now, but I wouldn't rule out there being a lot of competition at those 3 positions (obv HT has it locked down)

also player development should be accelerated somewhat as we become a player coached team, pruitt wont have to teach the entire team how to practice now

Hope they RS unless they are just too good to not see the field. Love our DL going into next season - completely forgot about Gooden in that depth chart as well!

At linebacker I would personally love for French to get the spot next to Toot. You hear about the kids leadership on and off the field. Would be a nice combo with Henry.
