I played travel baseball for a few years. The parents get waaaay out of hand. As a player you just want them to shut tf up. It's embarrassing whether you know them or not.
All most all of my girls would beg me to tell their parents to stop. It made no difference to some of them. Not joking, last 2 years if you approached my dugout for anything other than an injury. You were gone.

Parents can either make or break a team. If you don’t lay ground rules right up front, they’ll try to take over. I cut my best 3 players because of their parents.

My daughter still plays travel ball. We were in gulf port a few months ago. There was a team there without parents from Florida. It was awesome.
I don't get it. What do they think they are creating? A future professional softball player? Are they just delusional?

They get livid with us when they miss practice.

We have a rule that if your late or miss practice you won’t start the game and parents get pissssssed. We do understand things but when they just don’t wanna practice they pay. We had a boy quit over it. Most of our parents get mad at our scheme but when the kids are buying into it we do great and when they don’t we lose. Our defense is the best in the league but our offense shoots themselves in the foot every game.

We had 4 false starts 3 of them on third down & 2 holding penalties and both of them was after getting a first down on the play.. we had the ball on the 3 yard line about to score before the half and our QB ran the opposite play that we called and ended up throwing a interception when he was suppose to run a veer. Kye would have walked in and we would’ve probably had a different outcome to the game.

I think you have a national title or you’re ass mindset. Don’t take for granted a ton of success just bc you didn’t win a ring.
At this point, give me 9-3 and I'll enjoy football season. Anything beyond that is gravy. Enjoying the season, tailgating, camaraderie... that's what it's all about, imo.

If we say that to our parents and they’ll be at the school administrators office Monday morning.

We’ll all of my girls will get scholarships to play somewhere. We were really really good. And maybe that was the problem. The parents expected to win every single game, so yes, very unrealistic.

Go to a middle school game and see. I understand hyping your kid up but degrading them or telling them something against what I said is only ruining them.

This is why I like Shrout. He gets it out quick and makes fast reads. He may have been all over the place last Saturday, but if he gets his timing down, he will be better than JG. JG takes way too long in his throwing motion.
Shrout has demonstrated zero accuracy so far. It does not matter at all how fast it is if you're sailing or bouncing them.

It’s so Fn hard to win 9 or 10 games. Anyone outside of Clemson and Alabama right now should never complain about a season like that.

On the other hand I’ve had some really awesome parents that knew their role.

Best friends with 3 families because of Ball..

Seen similar stats, but it's hard to disaggregate throwing time from scheme or having time to throw. One could look at how holding the ball longer affects performance - well JG's passer rating is the same below or over 2.5 seconds. Hilinski's rating is 93 under 2.5 seconds and 89 above, not a meaningful difference either.

Not saying JG shouldn't be releasing earlier sometimes, but we have been talking about plays where it should have gone off 1/3 second earlier, not punishing him for letting complex routes play out and accepting time in the pocket rather than rushing things.

This statistic just isn't that meaningful without seeing what it affects or taking scheme into account. Hilinski has an abnormally low 2ATT time, so it's probably scheming to get it out quick for the freshman.
Is disaggregate even a real word?

I understand your failed joke, it was just ignorant. You just never responded to why you insist on being such a negative loser. If Tennessee football makes you that miserable then move on. Maybe start following Disney or something. People get tired of your "poor poor me" act.
In his defense, you respond to almost every one of his posts.
