After watching the game again, I don’t see why any of you want Maurer to be the guy. Shrout has the most potential. Got the ball out (too) quickly. Hell of a fastball. He just reminded me a little bit of Wild Thing Rick Vaughn.

Not sure Maurer got the opportunity to throw near as much as Shrout to make and true comparison.

Randomness, but I'm wondering what the dynamic between Barnes and Fulmer is like? Any indications? Rumors? Just curious.
Well let's say your boss just gave you a monster raise. How would the dynamic be? I'd say pretty good. Rick got some extra coin in his pocket and I would imagine feels confident his boss is happy with his perfomance.

Thanks, but i was looking for something more concrete. I'm sure they probably get along, just curious beyond that, and how that might play into future dealings...

In case you haven't noticed, we're getting top players. Ramel Keyton is on this roster, Eric Gray is on this roster. Tee Hodge is in the 2020 class as well as a few receivers. We are still players for Rakim Jarrett as well. Lets not forget that BJ Ojulari, Harrison Bailey, and others are in this class also. It isn't like he's recruiting like KY.

The point is, we can't recruit with Bama and GA yet. But we will if we develop the guys we have and start winning. That's what was wrong with the intern. His first 2 classes were strong, but recruits began to see through him because he couldn't win and he couldn't develop guys and as soon as Dobbs, Hurd, Malone, Barnett, Kamara and others left, we went 4-8 because there was no building happening. There was no development taking place, and the recruits new it and wouldn't come here.

I don't believe that will happen under Pruitt. I believe this is a staff that builds a program by developing players and having them ready to play. That is why Clemson is where they are. They recruited in the top 15, not top 5, but they built that program by developing their players and recruiting quality players at key positions. Now they are able to recruit top 5.
Tee Hodge? Really? C’mon Bass...

We are not going to have a class as good as last year because of what has happened this season.
I hate speaking in absolutes. We have no effin clue how good or bad this class will be. We have no idea how we finish the season. None of this has happened, so why prognosticate disaster? Maybe this class misses, or maybe it doesn't. It's too damn early to just give up IMO.

A brand new goalpost? One at a time!

Not stretching the field, relative to who? In the SEC he has the 2nd most attempts of 20+ yards and is 2nd in those completions...

NEXT MYTH!

Do any of you have any actual facts to support your myths or just throw them out as fuzzy ideas in your head that you've built up?

When it matters...he doesn’t stretch the field. He throws into coverage.

His passes have been check downs with receivers/rb/te making plays. In the red zone he is below average. Between the 20s and to the boundaries is where he is good. Facts.
