I don’t know who needs to see this right now, but here you are. Jalapeño burgers with grilled cheddar frico. Hot dogs for the kiddos.

What are y’all grilling tonight? Showed you mine, you show me yours. Let’s see it!

Having a couple of double IPAs. Grilled a pile of chicken thighs that sat in olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and some minced garlic. Then had a roasting basket on the grill with onions and lemons in it. When I took everything off the grill, I mixed the lemons/onions with some rice and Brussels. Good stuff.

The pineapple is whole, skin and all.It doesn’t affect the boil at all. Once everything is put out to eat, then you cut up the pineapple. It’s a great offsetting taste for someone that the boil seasoning is too spicy. You don’t taste the pineapple unless you eat a slice.

I get that, gives balance, and all according to taste, of course. I personally like the heat side, not too well on anything sweet, even fruit. I know, it’s makes me look like a weirdo, 🤦‍♀️

A friend of mine invited us over to a crawfish boil and he did that with the pineapple. I was all against it until he showed me that it didn’t affect the heat and spice of the boil. Just gave some a way to escape the heat.
 
Since we are/were talking about grilling: went over to a buddies place and we grilled some good burgers. Meat, onion, cheese, garlic, jalapeno, and egg. Came out good and juicy. Today is one of the reasons I absolutely love warm weather. Sitting by the grill with friends talking, smelling the food as it cools, eating said delicious food, all while still conversing. Good times.
 
Agreed. I think we’re a year out from competing.

If JG doesn’t show vast improvement almost immediately out of the gate - I say hand the ball to HB and let’s get him repped and ready for a run next year.
Yep. Also think maurer could be great if he would stop being an idiot on the field. Just let the game unfold and don’t force stupid passes

I keep bottles of Grace’s Scotch Bonnet sauce (thanks to my daughter-in-law) to throw on everything.

He’s a continuity hire, but I think he will do fine. @HankHill probably knows more on this subject than I do, though.

Yea it’s a good move. I was pullin for Byron bc of personal preference but either deserves it. Not to bring up bad apples but thats why I’ve always said the Butch/SC coach thing is blown way out of proportion Bc it’s the assistants that are running most of the actual workouts. Sure the head guy steps in and lays out the plan but as far as actually being in the room especially in the off season it’s them. So they will do basically the same as what fitz was doing, just like Sherz was doing basically the same as what Lawson did..... we just have a better leader at the top this time around.

I have never put anyone on ignore, even though I’ve hovered over it with you. Calling a VFL freshman an idiot, just shows what you are. No, I still won’t push that button, because I still want to see you get roasted over your “insight”.

Eh, I’d hand the ball to Shrout over Maurer. I think Shrout has more skill than people give him credit for. Maurer just looks so small out there.... Like he could snap in two at any moment.

I did a seafood boil tonight, Shrimp clams crab legs oysters corn and potatoes ole bay seasoning. Had some crusty bread to soak up all the both. Wrapped some shrimp in bacon as an appetizer on the grill. Cold beer to wash it all down. :cool:
