I was confused when he was talking about the hit that Stokes put on Maurer last season. He was talking about that both teams were bringing the hear, and it was late in the game and UT was still throwing (they were trailing) so Kirby blitzed because Pruitt "broke the code." Was he saying Pruitt broke the code by throwing the ball at that point in the game? Despite trailing? He didn't explain so I don't know what he was talking about, but he seemed to put the hit on Maurer pn Pruitt for "breaking the code."

Caught that too. Where did JP break the “code”? Obviously an old rift between the two.

With that said...just a win is all the retaliation needed!

"7. Carry the fight to Georgia and keep it there for sixty minutes"....and rip them damn hedges out by the roots on the way out of the stadium !
Gray and Chandler pull a CJ2K & LenDale White Terrible Towel show on the hedges lolol

(I do not condone, but that was the imagery in my head)

It's now been over 10 years since we had 13 men on the field in Baton Rouge. That's INSANE to me. Still seems like yesterday.
I believe that game spawned the thread where the poster mentioned kicking over the bucket of lightbulbs in his basement. Because, of course, we all have a bucket of bulbs laying around in case we need to do some kickin!
I skinned my knee doing a celebratory jump/slide when we “won” ... the pain hurt even more just a few minutes later when we lost.

You know, When Pruitt took over at UT, I thought it was a good hire, but wasn't sure it was a great hire... obviously this is exactly what we needed, a GREAT HIRE... to be honest, I couldn't really picture "cornbread" getting a locker room jacked up and intense with that kind of "gosh shucks" quiet tone. Damn I was wrong. I've watched several pre-games and this guy is the perfect mixture of calm intensity that's just about to explode, but never does... he builds and builds, but is giving the players a message and certainly knows how to deliver it...

So now I get to chuckie bowl cut down in GA........................ can ANYONE see this used car salesman getting a locker room fired up? NO WAY... just can't see it...

They need to show our recruits Pruitts pre-game and half time speeches...

Oh I’ve seen him explode. The recent “Do we got some fighters in this room? YOU DAMN RIGHT WE DO!!” That got the guys jacked up

Agree on all points. It’s also worth noting this chart excludes our DBs which have been arguably the most underwhelming position group so far.
It includes everyone. "Front 7 havoc" is just the term for things front 7 guys usually do. Which makes it misleading imo too...but leave that for another day.

There is a separate "db havoc" for things usually attributable to DBs, but can be attributed to anyone. But "db havoc" doesn't include DBs getting TFLs and forcing fumbles. Like "front 7 havoc" doesn't credit a lineman with a defended pass. They are just categories of havoc play types, not which unit did it.

Our true "front 7" havoc rate would be a good bit less than what is shown there, as it would be for everyone.
