Chaney could be sandbagging. Idk, this team offensively, since Pruitt has taken over, has had a really hard time picking up a blitz. Noticing and adjusting to a blitz pre snap at the line. We have new/ exp players on the line, we have a new OC, the only constant is JG and Friend as the position coach(idk how much that plays into it). In the end it could be UGA has much better players and made really good adjustments at halftime. Its unreal uga's 4th string qb is way better than our 1st, but maybe that's where we are as a team.

Pocket presence. He just doesn't move in the pocket to avoid pressure. Also, I'm constantly amazed that he was considered a dual threat quarterback. He doesn't move very well.

I believe he gives his all. Never had any doubt but just stating my observations.

Simmons was being a problem so they took him out. I was so pissed, and I wanted retaliation...I wish we would take their DLs out from now on when we play them....it was abundantly obvious it was on purpose...just like they did to Shy.

Yeah, I watched the game at a friend's house. He follows UT, but wouldn't call him a "fan", When I started to bitch about how dirty UGA is I had to explain the whole Shy Tuttle business. Whenever we play UGA, it seems they go out of their way to try and hurt our players. I trace it back to them being pissed about the Chubb injury, which was in no way intentional. It just happened. Yet they've tried to take out our players ever since IMO.

Simmons was absolutely having a coming out party at least IMO before the chop block. It was like every run play you saw Simmons split the double team and disrupt the entire play. Also, any one else feel like Toot is putting together award show type plays weekly? I think he collects hardware

NCAA needs to investigate Pickens. As immature as that kid is, no way he's passing classes and doing his own work. UGA has to have someone attending class for him. Probably just to keep him from disrupting class.

Chaney was out coached the defense was dialed in and gassed in the second half. UGA has a ton of athletes but Chaney didn’t scheme for it or have any answers at all, he’s not good at adjustments. The more I think about this game the more I put it squarely on Chaney and his inability to adjust to the blitzes and get creative with the run game. Velus Jones may be our most explosive player and I think he got targeted once? Trevor Lawrence would have struggled yesterday in that offense. (Now could Chaney be sandbagging because of his trust in JG, maybe.)

just responding to your small monologue at the end...go watch the games Brian Maurer and JT Shrout played in and that’s where your answer will be...totally different offense and we were moving the ball.I’ve always thought Chaney was hindered by JG’s issues mentally as a QBs and physically..he just doesn’t have it in both aspects that’s required to be good or elite at this level.

We’ve got to take the Coach Majors approach with Pruitt. It took Majors years to get this program turned around, but he did it. Pruitt just has to keep plugging away, keep improving.

If this fanbase loses their isht and goes negative this year, it will have a purely corrosive effect on the program, destroying what progress has been made by JP...and we will never be relevant again.
