I don’t think this is Chaneys offense. He is doing what Pruitt wants. This offense looks exactly the same as Heltons.
I completely disagree with this. We threw so many variations of screens and underneaths with Helton. I remember charting passes for SC game that year and JGs completed air yards combined were like 14 or something. We also had a lot more misdirection in the backfield.
JG was basically just throwing extended handoffs under Helton which is probably why he had his best year. He also moved jennigscto the slot and used Calloway to cover him up. I think that’s what we should be doing with Brandon Johnson and use Hyatt and Palmer as decoys.
