I also believe he can get the job done. The team's regression is concerning. His defense got better and better last season. Something is off. This team would run though a brick wall for him . Now they have hit a brick wall. I am hopeful two weeks will give all a needed breather and a chance to refocus.

QB is draining them. I bet we would see a different defense and offense with Maurer or Bailey. You can tell they don’t believe in their QB to win them a game. Our coach has to pick up on this and move on. We shall see after the bye.

I think this says more about where college football is and has been the last few years than it does about our coach.

The Clemson’s, bamas, Ohio states of the world have been way way more talented than the average conference opponent than teams were for the past.

The top 2 sec teams and Clemson have just been light years ahead of the middle power 5 teams.

I’m with this whole statement. I watched the game with almost no emotion til I burst out yelling loudly at the TV because JG misses a read that even I saw. I didn’t even play QB in high school & still read the play much better than he did. I yelled “You’re a 5th year senior and you still can’t make that read?!” Much to my wife’s chagrin. but yeah our defense is not our biggest issue by any means. It’s even ranked higher than Bama’s right now. We get an at least competent & athletic QB with some arm talent and we’re a whole different look on offense

I think florida gets it done in the next few years is more likely than Georgia due to coaching

I think you give too much credit to Dan, outside of QB I don't believe he's an elite coach. He and bowl cut are comparable as head coaches IMO.

On a side note I am really interested to see what 2021 brings. The elites will have all their eligible top guys go pro as usual.

The mid talent teams though will have a lot of borderline NFL players that likely won’t go if they can get a free covid year and increase their stock. And how many of these players can you keep, stay under 85 rides, and bring in a class

How many players at bama,Clemson, Georgia will be very talented, and be told they don’t have a spot to make way for the new signing class. Seems there could be a lot of immediate transfers if all those seniors can get a covid year and a hance to improve their stock

I don't watch our games live. I record them and watch it if we win and delete it if we lose. I can honestly say that I've never yelled at my TV though. In the past, I've been in bars and seen it first hand from some people and I don't think it's a good look. I also don't go to bars and watch games anymore . I think with age comes wisdom

So, I missed the 3rd quarter Hyatt catch on Saturday. I went back and watched that and part of the Auburn-Ole Miss game. You know it's bad when both broadcasts are bewildered that the replay booth did not review two clearly controversial plays.
