If we lose to Arkansas we’re staring at a 3-7 finish. That would mean just one more victory and it would come against Vandy.

Basilio just reiterated that if we finish 3-7 then Pruitt will be fired. We would be in that Willie Taggart zone where you just cut bait because you know it’s not going to succeed.

it's your fault you listen to Basillo.

i don't recall anyone asking for cliff notes.

Losing to ARK doesn’t guarantee a 3-7 finish. But 3-7 would still be yikes.

But losing that game doesn’t give you auto losses in the remaining games. Doesn’t work that way.

Bama would scoop up Pruitt in a heartbeat and probably put Dooley on staff just for the hell of it.

I wouldn’t listen to Basilio if you paid me to. Hot take artist extraordinaire. Guess that tells me where some of our poster go to for info 🤔

Just a reminder of how much I hate Florida - was looking back to see how UF was in 2015 and 2016 when they won the East (but we should/could have). Those 2 UF teams averaged a measly 23 PPG. Basically our offense. But they gave up 17-18 PPG and won a bunch of really close games, some vs shiz teams. God they have a horseshoe up their rear.

Some of those close wins:

East Carolina 31-24
UK 14-9
UT 28-27
Vandy 9-7
Florida Atlantic 20-14
Vandy 13-6
LSU 16-10

Impressed by Ensminger at LSU, their OC/QB coach. Was thinking last year was more to do with Joe Brady and Burrow, but still...he's done an impressive job keeping their offense rolling. 42 PPG this year. 48 last year and 32 his first year. The last 2 offenses before he took over averaged 27 and 28, so he has taken them to a significantly higher level. JR Myles Brennan stepped right in and has done really well. A good OC/QB coach is worth his weight in gold.

Getting the SEC offices out of Birmingham really needs to happen. It isn’t a good look when stuff like the UT/Bama, Bama/MissSt from last year and OM/AU game from this year happen.

It always made more sense to base it out of a place like Atlanta or Nashville with a more diverse presence. Birmingham is infested with Bammers and Barners.

It’ll never happen, unfortunately. That’s exactly how they want it

You’re getting them either way!

He’s also getting the impression that Fulmer is distancing himself from Pruitt. The next step TB is taking is to get the tone & tenor from the big money donors.
