You’re getting them either way!

He’s also getting the impression that Fulmer is distancing himself from Pruitt. The next step TB is taking is to get the tone & tenor from the big money donors.
Tony B is always entertaining, you gotta give him that. Not to mention dude stays on for hours and hours after games.

Feel your pain. Need to vent a bit.

Could you see that Connor Bazelak was legit at QB for Mizzou when he took the first snap against us? He just had a QB rating of 126 with 70% completion rate and 201 yards against the same UK team that #2 and the rest of the team laid a huge egg against. He was 29/34 for over 400 yards against LSU the week after us in his first start. He's a RS Freshman. Does anybody on here believe we would beat Mizzou today and that #2 would play better than a first year starter in his 3rd game as a starter? Of course not. Does anybody on here believe Mizzou has more team talent than our guys? Of course not.

Jeremy is in his third year as a HC and has worked for some of the elite HC's in CFB for a lot of years before campaigning for and taking the job at UT. I've had enough with the excuses. The youth movement should have started in 2018 - some of us on here begged for it. There are what, like 2 or 3 of Botch's guys that would be starters at other elite SEC programs after 3 years with Jeremy? Three years of development for just a couple guys to prove themselves, while most of the other Botch guys get starting roles and extensive playing time to do what exactly? Lose? Look like doofuses on the field? Why, because Jeremy says they practice well? To produce a .500 W/L record in his time here with losses to Georgia State, BYU and now UK? To get blown out of games twice as much as Dools and Botch? To be embarrassed and humiliated time after time?

Everybody talks about how he just needs time to get more talent. Two more classes ought to do it they say. Don't all programs say that when they make changes from a losing HC? Didn't we say that with Dools and Botch and even as Phil cratered? The days of out-recruiting other programs to be able to win are dead and gone. The others that try it pay more and risk the AA hammer or are buds with the good old boys. We are amateurs at it. So that leaves recruiting the best kids you can find who bleed orange and can be developed well by a better coaching staff than we have seen on the hill for the past decade. Most of knew Lane Kiffin could have been that guy. It didn't work out. But you don't stop trying to hire "that" guy who can do it because Lane blew it. That was the right move to make then and now - find an innovative guy that can recruit the right players that knows how to motivate, develop, and win on game day. Look at what Pittman has done at Arky. The coaching world knew Odom is elite as a DC - we knew it from having to play against his guys and schemes. Everybody knew Briles was innovative and a future star on a P-5 level at OC. Nearly everybody on here laughed at the Pittman HC hire, which was dumb considering Phil was similar to Pittman in backgrounds. Player love playing for Pittman just like they did for Phil. Duh.

As far as I'm concerned Jeremy has 5 games left for a 180 degree turn in how he approaches his job. If I see #2 starting a game, I will immediately know that he isn't serious about his job or he is just plain dumb as dirt.

Very well said, totally agree. We can keep going back and forth this week and next week debating on talent, coaches, and players, but it all comes down to coaches and player development. The difference in one year. We have the talent to play with and beat just about anyone on a given day if everything goes right (or come close and scare you), yet our player development is severely lagging and in some areas regressing. Our coaching and coaching mindset is severely lacking--- as a result, you see the same thing happening over and over again each week with zero change/adjustment, which equals the same outcome. There are better coached and developed teams out there this season with less talent doing more than we are and this is year 3. If coached and developed correctly, along with playing motivated VFL football, we have enough talent on this team this season to have won 7-8 games without blinking. Yet here we are.

I will say this one last time--- last year this team fought for Pruitt and themselves in Tuscaloosa with less talent and weren't intimidated. They fought hard until the end... Saturday our entire team and coaching staff had a defeatist attitude from kickoff until the clock hit zero and didn't fight or care for Pruitt or themselves. It was embarrassing. What a difference a year makes. Someone like Phil better get to Pruitt quick or he'll be another UT coaching statistic sooner than later.

Would any of you take back Kiffin in any capacity as a coach?

Would never happen. But he has grown since his time in Knoxville. Dude knows offense and isn't afraid to call out the BS. and tell it like it is. It's uncanny how he is almost a Spurrier 2.0.

Will be interesting to see if he can have the same success as Spurrier. He would be lethal at a place like GA or UF.

I would take him back in a heartbeat. The guy has matured and can coach and develop players, not being scared to make changes and adjust. He plays 2 QB's on the reg and doesn't blink. I truly think under Kiffin we would have one loss this year.

What was this in regard to?
He either retweeted or liked a tweet that was really critical of the officiating in their game with Auburn. It had to do with the officials not reviewing a critical play that would have resulted in an Ole Miss touchdown late in the game.

Beat FL and the Pruitt naysayers will quiet down.
I like the idea, but I don't see our defense stopping them and we can't score enough to match that offense I'm afraid. I think we have two maybe three wins left on the schedule.

The team i have seen the last 3 weeks will not even be competitive with Florida.

You are setting yourself up for a bit disappointment if you think otherwise.

Let's see what team shows up for Arkansas
2 things....
1. agree
2. we don't play Florida for another 6 weeks. a lot can change between now and then...i mean, just 3 weeks ago....we weren't feeling too awfully bad about that Georgia game, despite the score.....................................................now it's a just another blow out loss on the list................

No way our linebackers can cover the UF slants and TE
whoever we have playing Star will have their hands full. if we match up one of our current LB's on their slot guy, be it Toney or Pitts, it's gonna have me watching the game with one eye closed...........cause that could get ugly....lol.

i would expect, a month and a half out mind you, that we're gonna have to do some things at the LOS to help that out....rush the passer, get physical with the WR's at the line and DL has got to get the hands up and bat some balls down.
