Haha I wasn’t trying to bandaid it. More of an example of two very different coaches that had very different tenures that ended up being the same result but there’s lots of mitigating factors as well. Georgia wasn’t near the recruiting juggernaut they are now. They’re in a different stratosphere now. I think given time Pruitt can flip the script here. I really do. He’s making it hard on me to believe right now but I still do. I want to see the man succeed. He’s a great dude. So, status quo? You're not making us feel better about this.
Then the question is if they can consistently elevate less talent.Yet another A plus observation there. No, seriously. They’re used to much different talent and I think you can tell it
It’s really hard but it’ll be worth it if he can pull it off. Lots of straining the gnat to swallow the camel right nowThen the question is if they can consistently elevate less talent. The thing is CJP did just that at Georgia (the closest talent comparison to what we have). They went from 29 ppg before he came to 21 and 17 the 2 years under him, back to 24 after he left. So...I believe he can. Or could, as a DC. The game is constantly changing, but he knows what to do...time is coming I believe...just need our best players in year 2, 3, etc. More patience unfortunately.
Just can't convince some the transitive property doesn't work in sports (not Jack, but maybe Tony B). All those "well we lost to Ga St so OBVIOUSLY we can ONLY beat Chattanooga now and we will go 1-11" folks. People that have never played sports, I presume. They treat it like a definitive formula, not as the highly probabilistic thing that it is, full of human decisions, bounces of the ball, zebra calls, and other crazy shiii.Losing to ARK doesn’t guarantee a 3-7 finish. But 3-7 would still be yikes.
But losing that game doesn’t give you auto losses in the remaining games. Doesn’t work that way.
That team shouldve been it. That was the team that could've had the Vols back on top. We were physical and explosive and defense wasn't terribleOne of those SEC network shows were talking to Bama players before they played Clemson in the championship that year and they said that Tennessee had the hardest offense to defend that they had played.
Eventually, my friend. Until then, imma sit back & enjoy Deacon Barnes and watch my Steelers. Think I’m gonna attempt to go to some Bassmaster events next year as well. Went to the one on Fort Loudon/Tennessee River this year. Was awesome and learned quite a bit. Cool to see the local guy pull off a win, too. Ott is a cool fellaIt sure does. So many could've should would that would've changed the direction or this program

I'm not sure. But nevertheless any chance I get ill be watching on SaturdaysEventually, my friend. Until then, imma sit back & enjoy Deacon Barnes and watch my Steelers. I don’t think any game is a “must win” but this team has to come out and compete and have a chance to win against Arkansas. If they come off a bye and we have another 3td loss then this staff is clueless and we might as well host a couple concerts or something to help towards their buyouts.
You're reading things into comments that just aren't there.Lol! You sound like someone who can’t have a conversation without throwing jabs to try and get your point across. Yesterday you called people insane because they didn’t agree with you. Now you are saying that I’m offended and miserable. Not offended at all. I am for sure not miserable, it’s a sport and I would stop watching if it made me miserable. I think we need both sides. We don’t need everyone saying everything is fine when it isn’t, we also don’t need everyone saying the sky is falling because it isn’t. And just because you post something does not mean it is truthful and factual and everyone else is wrong. It is your opinion just like everyone else has one.
Not only that but consider WHO he’s watching. If I’m coaching, Bailey is wearing a blindfold on the sidelines. HaNix's team did beat Bama when he started as a freshman. This is an absolute "strange" season with lack of practices in the spring. That is why HB needs to get on the field. You learn way more on the field than watching from the sidelines.
