Who’s to say when the game lights come on he’s a different QB?..that’s my point we will never know!..for 4 years we have seen and known what JG is and has been..how can you defend not giving someone else a try in a live game?...I literally watched Brian Maurer scramble 10 yards to extend a play because nothing was open...JG would have taken a sack, fumbled or threw a pick 6...we have seen it happen for 4 years amd I’m tired of seeing it...
Dobbs wasn’t “complete ass in practice”. He did so well that Riley Ferguson transferred. He and his family really wanted him to redshirt for a season and Butch tried to honor that. You can easily take fault with his timing. Worley actually played well in Norman, Dobbs sophomore season, but even then you could see we needed something else with that OL. What we eventually saw against SC. Dobbs is a perfectionist...that didn’t just show up in Columbia. We had a QB here not long ago who was complete ass in practice but when the lights came on it was game time and he was completely a different QB...who was it Dobbs?

Damn, if interceptions are being thrown in our scrimmages, maybe our defense is starting to look like defenses we play on SaturdayFrom SWAN:
Spoke at length with someone “close” today
—-So TN had a scrimmage last night and Mauer, who this person thinks gives us a real chance, threw two quick interceptions and was immediately yanked.
—- Shrout is at the bottom of the depth chart
—-Mauer just can’t figure it out— read between the lines
— HB is making serious strides every day
—- they really like Frosh Wr’s....room was decimated in fall camp with the virus
—— JG is currently the best we have
—— this person LOVES SALTER
not much but some clarity on the QB situation

Looks like we are going to strike out on TID on Friday.
I have no knowledge, but I heard the “Iceman” Casey Clausen was not great in practice, but he sure was what we needed in the game. I don’t think that is who you are talking about though.

Let me help your memory
Yeah it's gonna get interesting in here when we start losing kids in recruiting because they can even see the problems we are having with coaching, or lack of and team chemistry... I wonder what Pruitt's excuse will be if he gets called out on it... our momentum has stalled and regressed with a ton of kids it seems, they are probably wondering and asking the same questions we are about the lack of development and QB issues. If they watched the last two games, they can see a team that has lost it's fight and doesn't care, going through the motions. Who would want to sign up for more of that? All eyes were on the Bama game and we looked defeated before the end of the first quarter and played that way the entire game. Don't kid yourself if you think recruits don't see this. They don't expect us to beat Bama, but they expect us to show some fire and fight and leave it all on the field. We left it all in the locker room, sidelines, and pressbox... Can't even remember the last time I saw something positive from our coaching staff in terms of recruiting, tweets, anything. Nothing from Metal Vol and I doubt we see @Atlanta VOL anymore this season. Yeah boys, it's broken...
