We’ve had zero de-commits since season started but I’m guessing by your post that you speak personally to our recruits? Doesn’t mean it won’t happen but how would you know without speaking to the recruits?

We are trending for Nyland Green.

What the F are you talking about?

Note: if this is a sarcasm post and I just didn’t pick up on it then that’s my B

All this just to state we are trending for 1 CB👀🥴 yikes!...it’s obvious we need DL,OL,DE are we trending for any of those😬

This is how it works everywhere. If you suck in practice or aren’t getting it in practice, you haven’t earned playing time.

Literally never been on a team where the coach was like “well you suck ass in practice but F it - here’s the keys to the most important position on our team”. That’s just not how it works.

You can be frustrated at how long it’s taking BM to figure it out. I mean if he’s throwing 2 quick INTs against OUR defense then that’s bad. Or that Bailey may be taking longer to pick up the playbook than we hoped, but no coach worth his salt lets dudes play that haven’t EARNED playing time. Only on NCAA 14 does this happen.
This is simply not true. I did not play football but I played soccer in college. I was not a good practice player. I started every game I ever played from freshmen year of high school til I was done with college. You can identify talent and let them play. Some times they are bad and need time, others are just gamers and show up when they are out on the field.

Cool!..still not being up front with recruits involving their position coach?...yikes! What if he committed solely because of Coach Brumbaugh🥴

No doubt there should have been communication. I haven’t followed recruiting much this cycle but my guess is this recruit is one they are fine moving on from. If I am wrong this is recruiting malpractice

“All this”? Did it take you that long to read the first two sentences? Lol.

We have 26 commits. Can’t take many more. Can’t be trending for all of them. Although I believe (could be wrong) that last update had us in a good spot for Malone.....a DL.

Still can’t understand how some of y’all don’t get that recruiting against teams that have won 10+ games consistently might be difficult give our last decade+ of football. Not gonna be a quick fix.

Interesting philosophy from your coach.

I played college baseball.

You earned your playing time.

Idk that much about soccer - what’s the worst thing a player can do in soccer? A goalie giving up easy goals? I’m trying to relate it to BM throwing quick INTs in practice.

For example, I pitched. If, as a pitcher in practice, I gave up bombs all the time and couldn’t get guys out then I didn’t get to pitch in games. That’s a pretty normal and obvious philosophy.

If Mauerer is throwing INTs in scrimmages he must be really bad because our DBs act scared to make plays on the ball in a real game.

Get HB ready for Arkansas. I don't care if we have to scrimmage 3 more times before next Saturday, get him the snaps he needs.
The defense knows our plays. It’s not hard for them to jump a route in practice. It’s a go route, curl route, run up the middle, run left, run right.

But wait Soccer and football are completely different and you’re just a foot fairy....what do you know about football being a contact sport

They’ve been giving it to Velus who gets absolutely no yards every time....
We suck at sweeps it seems. The only notable sweep play in recent years I can think of is CFA housing one vs...uk iirc. Idk if it is blocking or what.

Speaking of which, it was crazy to see Bama blocking on the edges - wrs or tes or whoever they were. Felt like every perimeter or bubble pass they made everyone was perfectly blocked and the receiver had so much space in front of them.

About 18 of them are 3* what are you trying to tell me right now👀 and with Pruitts mentality it will be 3 years before they earn playing time so obviously not day 1 contributors 👀😬

My thing is....why do these coaches take frustrating “L’s” with JG and continue to work with him in the film room and practice but don’t work with these other QB’s and give them a chance starting some games and work with them on their game day film?...if trying to find the best option is the objective then do that by throwing them out there during a game..I promise you it can’t be any worse than what JG gives us..they are literally acting like JG doesn’t throw picks in games but yet when our back up QBs who get ZERO reps throw INTS in “PRACTICE” they even get yanked lol makes no sense..these kids will never get better without reps.as long as they can feel the pressure in the pocket and see a a blitz coming before the snap I’ll be happy.
They evidently don't practice hard enough.

I think you need a mixture of both. Can’t be absolutely terrible in practice, but just because you make some errors in practice does not mean you aren’t a good player. When you play a sport, you can tell within a half who are your most talented players. Any opponent we ever played, I knew who was really good or bad pretty quick. I’m sure it is the same thing in football. Some times you have to let the talent play even if they make mistakes. We had a forward who was lazy as hell. Never wanted to help contain or play any defense. He drove me crazy as a midfielder. But when we were on the attack, he was animal and rarely missed an easy shot. So as much as I wanted him to be benched some times for lack of effort, his ability to score and his talent was better than anyone else we had. He wasn’t the greatest practice player either. You have to let your best players play because they give you the best chance to win.

Did the fans make the decision on who played or did the coaches decide who was the better player?

Lol! Soccer players can be the biggest girls. But you are taught that if someone even remotely touches you to flop in the box to get a pk. Some just like to roll around and try to sell it more than others. Lol.

I’m just happier than a two peckered pup that you replied to my comment...you’ve been MIA since JG let you down in game 3🥺 just trying to have something to talk about 👉🏽👈🏽
