Come be a back up QB at the university of tennessee where if you throw interceptions in practice you get yanked and get absolutely zero! Live game reps on Saturday...but Jarrett Romo! Who can’t feel pressure with both hands on his nuts and can’t see a blitz without asking Helen Keller which side it’s coming from but that’s ok it’s completely different because he’s earned it...seniority is the ticket around this facility....I MEAN HOW ******* DUMB DOES THAT SOUND!?!...like its mind boggling.makes absolutely no sense at all

This is how it works everywhere. If you suck in practice or aren’t getting it in practice, you haven’t earned playing time.

Literally never been on a team where the coach was like “well you suck ass in practice but F it - here’s the keys to the most important position on our team”. That’s just not how it works.

You can be frustrated at how long it’s taking BM to figure it out. I mean if he’s throwing 2 quick INTs against OUR defense then that’s bad. Or that Bailey may be taking longer to pick up the playbook than we hoped, but no coach worth his salt lets dudes play that haven’t EARNED playing time. Only on NCAA 14 does this happen.

The problem with JG is that he can make a perfect deep ball throw but when he needs to hit a comeback route where the receiver has inside leverage and the ball is supposed to be thrown inside so that the receiver can box out to the defender and make the catch he throws it back shoulder to the outside so that the defender can make a play, when he has a guy coming on a crossing route he throws the ball at them instead of leading them allowing the defender to make a play and the big problem is this happens on passing plays that would extend drives this is where the inconsistency is hurting us and hampering our offense.

Yes. A lot of people thought he had turned the corner, then after USC and Mizziou a lot of people wanted crow, I said wait until UGA because I had still seen the same mistakes he had been making last year. 3 weeks later lo and behold here we are.

If Mauerer is throwing INTs in scrimmages he must be really bad because our DBs act scared to make plays on the ball in a real game.

Get HB ready for Arkansas. I don't care if we have to scrimmage 3 more times before next Saturday, get him the snaps he needs.

Who’s to say when the game lights come on he’s a different QB?..that’s my point we will never know!..for 4 years we have seen and known what JG is and has been..how can you defend not giving someone else a try in a live game?...I literally watched Brian Maurer scramble 10 yards to extend a play because nothing was open...JG would have taken a sack,fumbled or thrown a pick 6...we have seen it happen for 4 years amd I’m tired of seeing it...
