So how much did French weigh?...I just knew they were all 3 linebackers I think so I just assumed they were around the same weight for that position
French was always reported to be around that 220-230 area while playing and maybe reached 240 before arriving on campus. Always the most stable linebacker body of the Whitehaven Three.

Is it too late to try him at RB? 😂😅 I’m not sure what they seen on film for them to think he could be great there..they missed the boat on that one I think.
I think it was just numbers at MLB. Ideally I believe they want him outside in that olb/de spot...

I don't think he wants to play rb full time?

Why are you still here?

Later, Redneck.

I am actually pretty down on this coaching staff right now. Not sure that they can fix it.
We have to beat Arkansas. If we beat Arkansas and Vandy, and then steal one of AU, A&M, or Fl, things would calm down tremendously. If we beat 2 of those three, then everyone will be right back on board. But if we drop one to Arkansas or Vandy and end up with only 3 wins, sheesh, it's going to get ugly. I think the former is more likely than the latter. I think we see a re-energized team after the bye week and we beat Arkansas, Vandy, and steal one of the big 3.

In all honesty we've only had one bad loss. We wouldn't have been so down after the bama game had the Ky game not happened. The bama game went about like everyone thought it would. They didn't beat us any worse than they beat Ga

There was one report that during the second inning his test from Monday came in with an inconclusive result. So they proceeded to process the test from yesterday and got the positive result, which is when he was pulled.

But, during the later coverage well after the game was over, the studio guys had Ken rosenthal on the phone and he reported that turner had positive results both Monday and yesterday.

Maybe that’s why manfred was so disoriented...if MLB had any knowledge of those results and broke their stated protocols so as to not have to delay a WS game.
Thanks for the update. That does make it more interesting. I think the players union might have a problem with that.

Hope you are right. We did play much better last year. Yes, the KY game is the only real bad one. But, it was real, real, real bad.

Butch got me too. I get those two mixed up

I know you got mixed up but even if it was by mistake I think your suggestion is worth considering.

From my seat Crouch isn’t showing up much in the run game anyway other than short yardage and he is beyond awful in pass coverage. I don’t think playing a dime package as a base defense with a safety replacing crouch hurts us that much in run defense and it certainly makes us better in coverage. I say we need more of it

It was. I think the team quit on JG honestly. The defense was playing fine in the first half, the OL was blocking great and we were running the football. But JG never gave us a chance in that game and the team was deflated. That is why refusing to play a different QB was so indefensible. That was on Pruitt, and it was a mistake. Who knows what happens if Maurer comes in early. We may have come back to win, or we may not. But at least we would have seen them trying to win, and I think the team would have played with a different energy in the second half.

I know someone else mentioned that earlier this week. Maybe you not sure. I love the idea a lot of NFL teams are going to that hybrid box defender. Its a great idea imo

Make your calls for the rest of the season.

Ark - W
Texas A&M - W
Auburn - W
Vandy - W
Florida - L

I think we start playing like we did the first two games of the season and steal one at home against A&M. I think Pruitt's got Auburn's number, so that's a W. We out-talent Arky and Vandy, maybe not as definitively as we should, but we still come out on top. I actually think Florida is more of a toss-up at this point. No one knows how much covid is going to hurt their season, and we could get them off of a loss to UK. Maybe they pack it in at that point. Still, without further evidence, I think Florida's offense is too much for us. We can't stop them enough to be able to get a lead. Overall season record 6-4. Decent bowl birth. Maintain current recruits - bottom of the top 10 class nationally.

3-2 and that will be just fine at this point

5-0. We're gonna surprise a lot of people

He is absolute ass in pass coverage if anything he’s a liability
eh. he's not been good, but i think some of that is just a reflection on where he is developmentally for the position...and some of it is due to the inconsistency we've had on the DL.

there have been plays he DIDN'T make in coverage because he was late in recognition/diagnosing.....had a few of those in the MO game that stood out, i'm sure there's others,...by the time he did react, just too late.

so he's thinking, which makes you slower.

athletically, he's fine.....

i really think it's just becuase of overall depth at MLB that he's where he is....it was talked about at the end of last year that he probably wasn't really ready to take an MLB spot, and tht it was at least a good thing he'd be next to HT this season....

and i'd say this....he and HT would both be a lot better looking to the average person if the DL was playing better. as good as HT is and as many plays as he has made, it's still problematic how many plays he and crouch both get blocked by an opposing OL....in a 3-4, the DL absolutely has to occupy the OL, so the LB's can go.....................when the OL is getting to the second level, that's good for the opposing offense, bad for the defense......

that's not happening near enough.

Bad loss to KY this year. Very bad loss to GA ST last year. Pruitt is undermining his own rebuild with these strange losses.

No reasonable fan expected us to beat UGA or Alabama but you can’t drop the other games so often. Fans are running out of excuses for CJP.

Sorry 0-5 the rest of the way until we prove it on the field. This team is capable of both 5-0 & 0-5 so I wouldn’t bank on anything until the games are played
