SC and Missouri are equally as bad😅 Didint wanna touch base on the blow out from Kentucky I see🙃🐸☕

No they aren’t. Just making stuff up. Indiana State was 0-11, UMass was 4-8, and Southern Miss had a winning record.

Happens every time with this board. I don’t have a problem talking about a new coach, but people just make up **** to justify things. Latrell Bumphus being run into is now somehow Pruitt’s fault. Just say he hasn’t been good enough and move on.

I think that’s why Tee returned...to be groomed for HC opportunities...but on an EVENTUALLY basis! He definitely ain’t there yet.
Again, this isn't me advocating for it, but I could see a world in which Pruitt is fired, Tee is promoted, and the core of the staff remains in place both for continuity's sake and for financial reasons.

I'M NOT ADVOCATING FOR IT - but I can see this path forward if Fulmer remains in charge and believes the problem with the current team solely revolves around the head coach and he thinks Tee has the respect of the current crop of players (which, from what I'm told, is absolutely true.)

No ones blaming anyone, merely commenting on why the program is considered toxic. It's a multifaceted problem. If your don't think the fanbase plays a part then you're ignoring reality.
You literally just said ‘No one is blaming the fanbase for being part of the problem, but if you don’t think theyre part of the problem you’re taking crazy pills.’

Uhhhhhhhh

1. Hugh Freeze
2. Matt Rhule (ask if he wants back in the college game)
3. Bill O'brian
4. My WildCard - Sark

If the top 3 say no, just keep Pruitt. If Pruitt wants out and/or loses the team and everything goes to ass, call Sark.

If you can't get Freeze you wait.

If you can get Freeze you pull the trigger.

In my opinion this year is either hire Freeze or bust. I can’t think of any other names I’d want that are proven winners or realistic. I’d rather keep Pruitt one more year and give him a shot with another QB than fire him and hire anyone but Freeze this year. Freeze is so blatantly obvious and if our university doesn’t see it then they aren’t willing to ever commit to successful program again.

Yea!...kinda like tripping over a helmet when In reality you got your ass beat👀😅😂😂

I would have thought at some point Fulmer would come out and make a statement. Even if it is just a "Coach Pruitt has my full support and we are looking forward to getting on the field again".

Odd this dropped today.

Probably just conspiracy but could it be they are just casually floating his name out there to gauge interest from fans as well as our slight pressure on UT AD to take a serious look at the situation. He’s definitely going to coach somewhere power 5 whether it’s here or not. Hubbs even mentioned him by name. Others have as well in coaching hot boards.

Respect is worth the 3-4 games before it implodes. Need the other tools. I know you’re not advocating his hire, but if Fulmer greenlights it? Then I was wrong about being wrong about him in the first place. He had a great legacy that ended badly but didn’t define him...this would.

UT administration doesn't act they react. They never seize opportunity. They wait until a decision has to be made rather than be proactive. I just don't believe the administration would even contemplate a change simply because of the record.

I've said before that these decisions are always made on a spreadsheet. $10-$12 mil has to be offset somewhere. How much is a ticket (including the donation)? How many season ticket holders would have to phone the AD and say I'm done, stick your tickets north from the south side? That's when a decision would be made. I looked at it a few years ago and you'd be surprised at how few lost tickets it would take to make up the buyout. It's not always about raising more funds for a buyout it's also about not losing more revenue than the buyout.

Correct, I'm not laying blame solely at the feet of the fanbase. But they are a part of the equation, if this concept is foreign to you I'm not sure I can help.

There could never be a more obvious decision. Walk in the door on the left and it's instant death. Walk in the door on the right and it is life and prosperity. That is the clarity of this decision.

YES!!!!! THIS IS THE GUY WE NEED!!!!! View attachment 322281
(Or wait until we can get a proven head coach)
I’d hope this pic would disappear into the ether.
