i think, now having heard the press conf, he was not necessarily talking about just coaches, but apparently others under the football umbrella that had to take paycuts...you know, regular people, with regular paying jobs....lol.Wow. Pruitt said that he was giving his coaches who took a pay cut money out of his own pocket to supplement their income. Has to get approval from the NCAA first, but that is quite a gesture. He really is a good dude.
I don't think it matters much as long as we play HB and some of the other promising freshmen the rest of the season. I could handle getting beat now if we're building for the future. I think most UT fans would be ok with that.i do agree with that. i don't think anyone expects to beat Auburn, aTm or Florida. but a loss to Vandy would kinda be a dealbreaker for many....the dynamic changes, i believe, if that were to happen.
Pruitt needs to show the capacity to adjust when mass issues occur. Part of that may be not interjecting himself into EVERYTHING.I don't think it matters much as long as we play HB and some of the other promising freshmen the rest of the season. It’s an even worse look to call ones self a “fan” but do nothing more than talk about wanting your coach fired. There’s no wonder that we can’t pull a game changer kind of coach. They wouldn’t touch this fan base with Rick Pitino’s dick and blame it on Bobby Petrino.
I don't think that falls under the NCAA guidelines as being legal. Barnes tried to pay one of his assistants extra money, out of his pocket, to bring him in line with his other assistants and the NCAA stopped that. They're funny about moneyi think, now having heard the press conf, he was not necessarily talking about just coaches, but apparently others under the football umbrella that had to take paycuts...you know, regular people, with regular paying jobs....lol.
which is even, by a lot, cooler....
i think TN fans are tired of a lot of things.I don't think it matters much as long as we play HB and some of the other promising freshmen the rest of the season. I could handle getting beat now if we're building for the future. I think most UT fans would be ok with that.
VFL’s and others like Chaney. He was successful here before and believe he can be again. I don’t believe the “Chaney doesn’t like Bailey.” Pruitt dictates who plays QB and he always plays JG. People are coming up with reasons why we aren’t playing Harrison and it is mostly because of our head coach.
well, he said they were appealing it wiht the NCAA, so it's not "done" yet....they're basically asking for permission to do so.I don't think that falls under the NCAA guidelines as being legal. That was such a difference wasn't it. Offense looked completely different overnight with a change at one position. AP has said that CJC has been holding back much of his offensive plays because he has no confidence in JG to throw the plays. That, in turn, has made our offense bland. The hope is once the QB changes, the playbook opens and we become dynamic again.Well...yeah? Chaney has previous experience with Matt Simms to Tyler Bray.
Immediately! And it was after similar rhetoric from Dooley about Bray not being ready. Fans expressed concern because of his weight and lankiness. Now he had the advantage of enrolling early (actually participated in previous bowl practice) and traditional spring/Fall camp work...but the same held true that the starter wasn’t getting it done. That was such a difference wasn't it.
